@bob.. there have been a few instances where I've been asking why people are replying to obvious troll attempts..

@ bob: I mean there have been a few ugly troll incidents...
Overall, though, characters like fleep are as bad as it gets...

It's nice community, even the musical jingoism is pleasantly minimal.
Avatar 12:20am
bobdoesthings:

Indeed. :)
  12:26am
P-90:

Yeah, what Andrew said.

Actually, it's been less about "trolling" in the sense of trying to draw folks into arguments and create tension, as what I call "spamming and jamming", either filling up the board with a zillion inane or even incomprehensible posts, or "jamming" it up with a lot of self-centered, rambling talk about someone's feelings and opinions about everything that comes into his head, and reports about every dentist appointment, job interview, overflowed toilet, hangnail, etc.
Avatar 12:31am
bobdoesthings:

@P-90 .. like that guy who did stream of consciousness lines over and over and over ad nauseum?
Avatar 12:33am
bobdoesthings:

I recall a few boners on the boards come to think of it.. haha
  12:38am
P-90:

I don't know which guy in particular you're thinking of, but yeah, there've been a few guys (why is it always guys? *sigh*) who seemed to get addicted to the FMU boards as a personal daily diary---with zero concern for what's appropriate or whether it's of interest to anyone. And if you were looking at some of the boards in the Spring, even during the Marathon, there were some instances of nutjobs posting fragmented, nonsense phrases every 2-4 minutes ad nauseum.
