BLACK ELF SPEAKS Performs Live!
Black Elf Speaks is the latest incarnation of Tom Hohmann, who's been the guiding light behind such projects as USA Is a Monster and Elvish Presley.

Elvish Presley was originally conceived as a means to explore themes of natural communion via JRR Tolkien and Middle Earth. It was all very frolicsome, unpredictable and sexy. The formula has since been updated to include the Sioux Nation, as well as the 58% of the population of Iceland who believe in the little people. The childlike abandon & sexual curiosity remain, as does a sense of caveman theatricality. If you get a chance to see Black Elf Speaks live, make it your duty to do so!

Tonight, the band consisted of the following elves:
Black Elf -- guitar, vocals, keyboards
Colin -- guitar, vocals, drum
Chiarra -- violin, keyboards, rock, drum, vocals
AT -- bass, vocals, metal hair
Jerrod -- drums, vocals
Rip-It -- samples, sounds

Here's the songs they played:
Creation Story
Pungolina
Magic Pens
Water Troll
Whale Song
Rod Stoner
Evening Hums
Natural & Gay
Unseen Grain
Land of the Tree

Thanks so much to everybody in Black Elf Speaks for doing the live set tonight!!
