@pss: Is there a "good" recording of Green Fuzz?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:08am
pacific standard simon:

I said 'bad recording", not 'bad performance'.
Avatar 1:10am
BadGuyZero:

The elevator at FMU comfortably holds 4-6 people. It moves at a very slow pace...to the point that you'll probably doubt if it is indeed moving. When it reaches a floor it takes several seconds for the door to open. And by "several seconds" I mean "enough time to plan how you're going to attempt to free yourself from the stuck elevator."
  1:11am
P-90:

@ BGZ: Is it one of those old wood-plank-and-cast-iron industrial-revolution-era elevators that jerks when it starts and stops, and makes a sqeeeeeeking noise as it moves?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12am

The WFMU elevator is scary, but it's so worn out and flimsy you know you could tear yourself free in a pinch, so it's less scary than robust elevators. It's also not noisy enough considering how scary it behaves.

stream in a bottle:

from uncyclopedia.wikia.com Elevators (inaccurately called "lifts" in stupid places), are torture devices invented in 1523 by the Spanish Catholic Inquisitors searching for a more efficient method of "repressing" the Jews, Protestants, and their Satanist in-laws. The 16th century design, although crude by today's standard, set the bar for torture devices to a higher level.[1] Over the years, the original design was modified extensively until it became the modern object of torture it is now. As of today, the elevator has become a staple of the civilized business world, despite numerous attempted sanctions by so-called "peace-keeping" pansies. . .
