Good morning Chris. It's so weird to hear a "new" Muslimgauze, I thought it was DJ/Rupture at first
Avatar 9:12am
Chris M.:

good morning! yes, Muslimgauze has at least four or five new albums out this year.

Stanley The Meat Guy Yvonne:

Lovely tunes coming from my radio phone. Chris M! This new time slot looks really good on you!

fred:

Did someone find a cache or something? He's been dead for well over ten years I think
Avatar 9:17am
Chris M.:

thank you, meat guy! so far i've gotten one call demanding an explanation for this not being a reggae show. taking bets on the show total. i think i'll get three calls
Avatar 9:18am
Chris M.:

fred: as i understand it, and this is just based on something i read on the internet (disclaimer), he was so unbelievably prolific while alive that he bequeathed tons of albums to various labels which have been steadily released since his death.
Avatar 9:24am
Chris M.:

today's topic: how do you take your coffee?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24am
fred:

Chris, you may get confused calls, but I for one is happy to be able to hear your show (Sunday mornings tend to be an abstract concept for me)
Avatar 9:30am
Chris M.:

thanks fred! glad you're listening.

Jeezy:

Great show. It IS jarring however... I don't think Ken and the schedulers realized how intertwined us FMU fanatics lives can become with the shows!
I'm still disoriented when Glen and Xray don't appear at noon!

Coffee? Black as midnight on a moonless night
I've only been at Starbucks twice, and only because they do have pints of coffee. So if you see me there, don't even talk to me, I'm barely alive
Avatar 9:35am
SmokinJ:

Nice set Chris!
Avatar 9:35am
kiemzi:

yes, it's sounding great, love it!
Avatar 9:38am
Jeezy:

I just about only drink Grady's Cold Brew these days. It's a New Orleans-style cold brew with cinnamon and chicory flavors hand made by a small company here in Williamsburg. They sell it in a small or large jug and it's AMAZING. I make my own liquid sugar for it (granular just sinks to the bottom of cold coffee, of course.) and blend it with soy milk or almond milk. (It's sold as concentrate where you mix in a one-to-one ratio.)
I can heat it too, but I just love iced coffee year round. And I'm pretty serious about it!

neil from heidelberg:

hi chris, nice show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44am
Brian in UK:

Hello Chris

@fred to quote from Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood. 'Starless and bible black'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:48am
fred:

@Brian: thanks, that's a nice quote. I'll probably use it. And I do like Dylan Thomas, though I will probably never get over Twin Peaks
Avatar 9:49am
Chris M.:

thanks everybody
Avatar 9:51am
Jeezy:

I wish I could drink it black. And conquer my shameful sugar addiction!

Uh oh my Mamma do not let me listen to Rock And Roll
Avatar 10:05am
Chris M.:

this song is literally about being on a romantic date with satan
Avatar 10:07am
Jeezy:

I feel like Satan wouldn't be good in bed. More a receiver than a giver.
  10:07am
Stanley The Meat Guy:

Oh! But my Mamma IS ok about romantic dates with lords of evil. Especially Satan.
Avatar 10:09am
Chris M.:
