The Push Bin is a collection of sounds recommended to keep your body twitching and your head throbbing. Beats, people yelling, noise, horror movie soundtracks, dub, rock, experimental, and hip-hop will all be mixed into one huge wonderful mess. All delivered in a highly caffeinated and friendly manner.

Good Morning Liz...er, Lou! Playlist and Comments Board seem fine now.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:20am braveness23:

Hey Lou!
  Mon. 12/9/13 9:21am P-90:

@B23: How's the weather where you're at?
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:27am braveness23:

@P-90 It's Grey. Very grey. I was expecting it to be cold and crunchy this morning but in fact it was rather balmy and wet. Not an unpleasant surprise aside from the pure greyness of everything.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:29am Chris from DC:

Great opening set, Lou
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:29am common:

good grey morn.
  Mon. 12/9/13 9:30am P-90:

Columbia U campus was picturesque w/light dusting of fluffy snow overnight, then slushy and grey, grey...

Hey Tim, jdelz, braveness, Chris, Rev Rabbit and anyone else that I missed!
  Mon. 12/9/13 9:42am P-90:

Hi Tim! Is that Champaign as in Champaign-Urbana? What's the weather like there this morning? On an earlier board we we talking about how it's been in the teens and twenties in the Midwest all week, and that's the weather we'll be getting this week in the East...
  Mon. 12/9/13 9:46am Steven:

Lou, can't listen at work, but stoked to check it out tonight.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:47am braveness23:

Fun with Propellerhead ReBirth
  Mon. 12/9/13 9:48am mb:

Nice to have you back, Lou. Took a minute to recall your show through my resin soaked mind. Rock on. On Rock.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:49am jdelz:

Whats up Sven? It's your busy season, eh?
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:50am Rev. Turnip Druid:

Holy hell, it's a fill-in! And missed something from Locust Abortion Tech., which is perhaps the greatest human achievement of the 20th century...
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:50am Rev. Turnip Druid:

g'mornin' , that is.

Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:51am tim from champaign:

P-90, you are correct on all accounts. Over the weekend, it was chilly, down in the teens and 20s with a little bit of snow. I guess north of us it was pretty gnarly yesterday. A friend was driving from Milwaukee to Michigan. The ordinarily 4 hour trip took 9 hours.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 9:51am Guido (Cologne):

Cool psych group Carlton Melton!
Dig it!
  Mon. 12/9/13 9:55am P-90:

Carlton Melton IS cool. From the "resin-soaked" Mendocino County coastline in Cali, Dude.
  Mon. 12/9/13 10:04am Kathy:

I actually bought a SOUSAPHONE just because of my early love of the Butthole Surfers.
  Mon. 12/9/13 10:06am Kathy:

and I still have it. too funny.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:06am Guido (Cologne):

Did Butthole Surfers play "Stars & Stripes Forver"?
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:08am Guido (Cologne):

Medicines "happy few" is one of my faves of this year!
Much better than the celebrated latest Bloody Valentine!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:09am Cheri Pi:

What Guido just said. Heya everyone!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:10am Guido (Cologne):

Hyah Cheri!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:12am Chris from DC:

Yeah, wow, I need to hear more of this Medicine.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:12am Yair Yona:

Yeah I'm about to buy this Carlton Melton album too
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:13am tim from champaign:

Really digging the lysergic sunshiney sounds of this Medicine.

Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:43am Chris from DC:

Funny, I first read that as "Prepositions" when I glanced at the playlist.
Mon. 12/9/13 10:45am Sean in Bristol, UK:

Sorry Lou, didn't finish my message, missing your awesome podcasts
  Mon. 12/9/13 10:50am lalahartma:

Hiya, Lou. Strange to here the Cleveland accent after all this time. :)
  Mon. 12/9/13 10:51am Paul:

Hey Lou! Push Bin is shining some light on another wise dreary day. Thanks!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:52am Lou:

I think my accent gets heavier with age.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 10:53am jdelz:

Ah, the hard Cleveland "A"
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:11am Carmichael:

Heya Lou, hi ho silver commenters. Quite a playlist ya got here, my friend.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:14am Cheri Pi:

Brainiac! Cincy locals, I had this song stuck in my head this weekend :)
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:14am jdelz:

I miss Brainiac. Nice choice
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:14am braveness23:

hey, I knew these guys
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:15am Cheri Pi:

Seen Brainiac too many times to count <3
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:18am Lou:

Saw them a few times in CLE Cheri. Always an awesome show. Truly missed.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:19am Ike:

What happened to Pop. 1280? They sound different. New vocalist?
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:27am tim from champaign:

Man, I never got to see Braniac. They won my heart when a friend reported to me after seeing them that Braniac played Suicide through the PA before their set and it bummed out all the punkers and indie rock weenies.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:28am tomasz.:

this is brilliant
  Mon. 12/9/13 11:29am lalahartma:

Yup, I had to look up Cupid's Head.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:32am jk:

thank you Lou
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:38am braveness23:

I don't think I could ever get tired of the chunka-chunka echo echo echo echo echo echo echo sound of dub
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:39am Lou:

Agreed braveness!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:39am tim from champaign:

Me either, braveness23.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:41am braveness23:

It really is kinda like hearing the same damned song for decades but it's a pretty good song
  Mon. 12/9/13 11:42am lalahartma:

Fun stuff!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:46am Ike:

I googled it a bit. Seems Pop. 1280 added some new members but has the same vocalist. It's just a lot screamier than before. Before it was more growly than screamy. I think.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:53am Sean in Bristol UK:

Great set to finish off, Lou, thank you so mush for your wonderful show
  Mon. 12/9/13 11:53am P-90:

"Screamy" vs. "growly". Hm.
  Mon. 12/9/13 11:55am P-90:

Thanks, Lou! Hope you appear more often in the future. Merry Christmas to all.
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:55am braveness23:

Good ride today, Lou!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:57am Guido (Cologne):

this was a great show!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:57am Ike:

Come back again soon, Lou!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:58am bobdoesthings:

thanks lou!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:58am Cheri Pi:

Thanks Lou!
Avatar Mon. 12/9/13 11:58am jdelz:

Thanks for the great show Lou. Definitely some new things I need to investigate.
