Avatar Fri. 7/20/12 3:05pm DJKB:

hi honey, steve and all the residents of radioland!
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:06pm Honey Water:

Not certain of the animation. Looks sort of like a hedgehog or a mop twirling in the faces of sheepdogs.
Avatar Fri. 7/20/12 3:06pm DJKG:

DJKG, i mean.
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:08pm Snortley:

Everything that transpired in Michael Jackson's life was just karma for putting out "Rockin' Robin."
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:08pm Honey Water:

Gottschalk, Gottschalk... bo Bottschalk banana fanna ...
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:08pm steve:

  Fri. 7/20/12 3:10pm Honey Water:

Whatever it is, very nice when it synchs with the beat.
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:10pm Mike East:

Looks like mops with noses. Good afternoon all!
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:13pm Honey Water:

Hey, Mike!
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:15pm Honey Water:

@Snortley: Not sure I follow you. Are you saying his life was tragic in karmic repayment for doing a heinous recording? Or that he had deserv-ed fame and fortune because of it?
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:17pm Pheezy:

This Allen Lowe sounds great.
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:17pm Honey Water:

That Lowe was really sweet.
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:18pm Honey Water:

Jinx, Pheezy!
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:20pm maestroso:

Mr. Gottschalk, could you tell us who the organist was on "Bli Blip"?
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:21pm Pheezy:

Cheers, Honey Water!
Avatar Fri. 7/20/12 3:22pm DJKG:

  Fri. 7/20/12 3:26pm northguineahills:

Always love Merle..... (I only have Willie's version of Yesterday's Wine)
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:30pm Honey Water:

Well, PJ does some justice here to Willie's version of Wang Dang Doodle. :)
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:30pm Katya Oddio:

Oh, PJ, baby I love you, but chu know caint nobody do "Wang Dang Doodle" like Koko.
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:31pm adam:

"No 5 No Flats No Sharps Blues" blew my mind, Kurt - wow and that Marianne Faithful track too!
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:31pm Mike East:

I enjoyed a great bottle of wine yesterday. I'll finish it tonight, and perhaps start another.
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:31pm northguineahills:

Man Size was 1983? wouldn't that be 1993?
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:33pm Honey Water:

I also thought the date a bit early, but I'm never confident on knowing my facts against the FMU listener and jay geniuses.
Fri. 7/20/12 3:35pm too much coffee:

Avatar Fri. 7/20/12 3:38pm DJKG:

typo re pj. thanks for catching it nghills
  Fri. 7/20/12 3:38pm Honey Water:

This technique must be pretty difficult to pull off.
  Fri. 7/20/12 4:18pm northguineahills:

Tetuzi Akiyama is awesome!
  Fri. 7/20/12 4:19pm Carmichael:

Hey there, hepcats. Diggin' the duo ...
  Fri. 7/20/12 4:21pm Carmichael:

Kurt, do you know what kind of guitar that is? Sounds like a slightly out of tune archtop.
Avatar Fri. 7/20/12 4:23pm DJKG:

pretty gold les paul
  Fri. 7/20/12 4:24pm Carmichael:

No kidding?! My ears are losin' it. Thanks!
  Fri. 7/20/12 4:25pm Honey Water:

I was thinking earlier today how such senseless, terrible tragedies -- like this early morning and Columbine -- could happen in such a beautiful setting as CO. Always hearing statistics how the healthiest population, least obese, etc., in the U.S. is in that state. Makes even less than no sense at all.
  Fri. 7/20/12 4:40pm common:

minnesota jeff is awesome.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:20pm northguineahills:

This MV + EE is what I need for this loverly dreary Friday rainy day.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:23pm Carmichael:

It's hot as all get out here in NorCal, and I also need this music. A tune for all seasons.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:28pm northguineahills:

It's 64 F/18C right now in Brooklyn, it was 35 F/20C hotter this time last week.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:37pm Carmichael:

It's 92F here, and time for a frosty barley pop. Sun Ra is the perfect exit music, Kurt! Enjoy the weekend.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:43pm TDK60:

Far out.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:45pm kurt v:

wfmu legend....this show is groovy! im about to drink some coffee
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:47pm TDK60:

Some sanity.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:55pm northguineahills:

Thanks for the tunes DJKG.
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:57pm Mike East:

yes, a fine program today, sir...was listening to Staples Singers record this morning, btw. Enjoy the weekend, those that have one!
  Fri. 7/20/12 5:59pm anthony:

I love Petula Clark. Wish she had done some Bacharach.
