![]() Live Performance by The Loom (Dan DeSloover: bass; Jon Alvarez: drums; Jon Fanning: vocals, guitar, banjo; Lis Rubard: trumpet, French horn, bkg. vocals; Sarah Renfro: vocals, keyboards, floor tom) |

|
Brooklyn-based folk-rockers The Loom named their newest album "Teeth" in honor of the physical part of you that outlasts you the longest. It's maybe a statement about legacies, and how people strive to find joy, despite life's setbacks, that will outlast their physicality. The Loom conduct their musical search with intricate percussive moments in psyche-folk infused tunes. The Loom played live on Irene's show.

Irene:
Hey Van! I do know about that live set because I engineered it! Black Forest of Opium were really great. Maybe I'll get them in for a session of my own, now that they have a new album. By the way, I Love doing the live music, and I'm offering a compilation of some of these performances that I'll be offering as my premium during the Marathon next week. More on that then. |
