Listener comments!

  8:42pm Graham Cracker:

Please play Vaughn Deleaths "Do Do Do", any version of "Who Played Poker with Pocahantas when John Smith was Away" and some cakewalks.
  8:47pm samantha:

hello, i am listening and enjoying your show very much. if you are receptive to requests it would be lovely to hear some opera, and i wonder if you happen to have a copy of toscanini performing la donne e mobile from rigoletto. thanks very much!
  8:48pm Graham Cracker:

Please play Louisa Tetrazinis "Ah! non Giunge" from 1911.
Thank you i'm only seven years old and my grandpa taught me about 78s.
  8:59pm Graham Cracker:

Hi. My grandpa said he would like to hear some Busy Bee recordings, maybe some Harry James but he like cakewalks. He said he used to take a windup player and play 78s in a corn field that overlooked the north sea in Holland and he would paint the ocean and people walking on the beach. He also uses one of those old shoehorns sometimes to listen to music from.
  7:58pm Nat M. Lucas:

Check out "Peach-O-Reno" seen dam' seldom on Turner Classic Movies; It contains Joseph Cawthorn stealing scenes from anyone without any concerted effort, although it's SUPPOSED to be a Wheeler & Woolsey picture. Bert Wheeler does a hilarious vocal impression of Kate Smith---worth viewing for these parts alone among the great music...
