  Fri. 8/12/11 9:11pm Caruso:

Rainbow's soundin' kinda like a cross between early 80s Asia and late 70s Meat Loaf...

hey...PR reps of Pilsener Haus & Biergarten here, caught your comments on the way home from the biergarten itself...being way uptown, the location may weed out some of the frat boy contingent...the crowd is diverse, from Hoboken old-timers I recognized from when I lived behind Maxwell's in the late 80s...to families with kids, beer geeks, everybody. The main DJ is Marc from Mehanata, (who by coincidence is childhood friends with 1/2 Japanese!) and he's not exactly spinning a bonehead soundtrack. The Viennese chef is from Cafe des Artistes, and his own Thomas Beisl in Brooklyn across from BAM, and the food is amazing...almost 70 beers...handpainted signs by a great Czech artist...founded by one of the founders of Radegast in Brooklyn...it's pretty f***ing amazing so come check it out and leave your hoboken preconceptions at the door. I know what you're talking about, but this isn't Bahama Mama's...
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:38pm Space:

this is nice
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:39pm miketp:

i dont even likepretzels
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:39pm pseu:

Mehenata DJ, hmm...that's actually alright...STILL someone is asking for a punch in the face over there.
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:45pm Hambone:

new style = "temporal scanner"
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:46pm EzSezz:

It's sublingual
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:47pm kidshealth.org:

Look in the mirror at what's under your tongue and you'll see your frenulum (say: fren-yuh-lum). This is a membrane (a thin layer of tissue) that connects your tongue to the bottom of your mouth
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:49pm ~L:

Born again X-ians?
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:54pm miketp:

how bad was it that the youngsters were into new kids and insync. they had some catching up and you know they did. thank goodness for them
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:57pm JD:

had a young intern at the WFMU lunch table refer to Alien Ant Farm as an "old" band. Head veins were a-throbbin.

Okay, maybe just mine.
  Fri. 8/12/11 10:58pm Hambone:

I vote miketp as the highest blood alcohol level currently on the board, edging out the garrulous guy who was coming home from the biergarten.
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:04pm pseu:

thanks, HAMBONE.
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:28pm Space:

was wondering are you going back to your old format for the fall or is the hook a permanent thing?
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:29pm Hambone:

Update: Recent entrants are coming on strong and making a late play as we come into the stretch.
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:30pm bruceleh:

Hi Pseu
Did you ever get to try that Pistachio-Cardomon ice-cream?
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:35pm pseu:

no, Bruce - what do I look like I have nothing to do but order ice cream on the internet?
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:36pm bruceleh:

You should come and visit Park Slope, I'll share with you on my rooftop deck.
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:49pm freshness burger:

Joy Zipper! Was that from the Cure tribute album?
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:50pm T-Zero:

Been listening but couldn't comment until now, so late with this, but re: cleaning stuff with abrasives... ammonia works great for removing grease and smoke film.
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:52pm zeezee:

do you canoe?
Fri. 8/12/11 11:53pm Schticking It Up:

If you can't beat em, join em. Dump at will:

Fri. 8/12/11 11:55pm some other guy:

I used to do those promo jobs. It's half aspiring models, and half filthy drug using weirdos that clean up good, and totally listen to wfmu.
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:58pm 12539:

Thanks for all the pop, Pseu.
  Fri. 8/12/11 11:58pm pseu:
