Outbound from JFK i think i left before all the groping hit the news. Basically the same procedure, shoes off, metal in a bin, standard metal detector.

Coming into iceland, the same, which baffeled me. Did the expect something to change in flight?

Outbound from paris, my traveling watercolor set raised some hackles, until i explained as best i could what it was, showing them the painints i did...

All in all, iceland is a breeze to get in and out of. One airline to deal with...

Everyone who cooks should really have a copy of "The Complete Joy of Cooking", preferably the 3rd edition which may be hard to find now. The 4th edition is out, but it's not as good. It's my "kitchen bible"!
