Fri. 4/16/10 3:09am Ken From Hyde Park:

The news stories say Peter Steele of Type O Negative has died of heart failure. That's too bad.

Thanks Maya... happy to say that I have come out of the worst part of this cold.. snifflin and sneezin at this point..
  Fri. 4/16/10 3:25am Elwyn:

Bill, how are you managing being ill AND getting up this early in the Northern hemisphere winter?

Thanks for keeping us entertained. It's almost the end of the working week for me (in Sydney)
  Fri. 4/16/10 3:32am Bill Mac:

Elwyn,

Winter has been over weather-wise for about a month now. As bad as it was it seems a distant memory now. We've already had 90 degree days here. You're right though, I went to work yesterday, got a two hour nap and pretty much came back here to do the show, and then I'll leave here and go to work. It''s about priorities I guess, I need to do this when I can, which only partially explains my bizarre behavior. As long as I'm entertaining all you people over there I am happy.
  Fri. 4/16/10 3:38am Elwyn:

Type O Negative also did a great cover of "Cinnamon Girl". I remember downloading that during the Napster days.
  Fri. 4/16/10 3:44am Elwyn:

Oh gawd! Are they jamming over a keyboard version of the theme from Footloose? :-) It's pretty cool.
  Fri. 4/16/10 3:47am Bill Mac:

I meant to say something about that, but why bother, it was sooo obvious! I just checked the liner notes and the tune we heard predates Footloose by 15 years.
  Fri. 4/16/10 4:12am jamesiezeeevonnnnn:

zeeeeevon!
  Fri. 4/16/10 4:14am Bill Mac:

The poop has struck the ventilating apparatus!
  Fri. 4/16/10 5:22am Elwyn:

Get better soon, Bill.
I've got to go home before seeing one of my friends launch her new album. (Laura Imbruglia. That's a free plug for her.) :-)
  Fri. 4/16/10 5:23am Bill Mac:

Do it man! Hope to see you again soon!
Tue. 4/20/10 6:38am Iikka from Helsinki:

Listening from archives, great show! Dexter Romweber was in Flat Duo Jets, BTW.
