Mon. 4/6/09 12:28pm From: Jet Screamer

Beep bleep blip zorp

Mon. 4/6/09 12:29pm From: Cecile

Mon. 4/6/09 12:30pm From: still b/p

Mon. 4/6/09 12:33pm From: stingy d

i'm hungry.... i gotta stay home. al i got is eggs.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:33pm From: Carmichael

Mon. 4/6/09 12:34pm From: Jøe Steele

I'm starving and have a sore throat. I'm decided how best to obtain some soup.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:34pm From: gerardo

a week older, a year older, a year happier...

(hola, cecile!)

Mon. 4/6/09 12:35pm From: Parq

D, you should make a note. When the time comes, "All I Got Is Eggs" would be a good title for your autobio.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:35pm From: Cecile

no good cheese, bread or meat left, stinge?

Hola, gerardo!

Mon. 4/6/09 12:37pm From: stingy d

i don't know parq - it's a bit too "ballsy"

Mon. 4/6/09 12:38pm From: Cecile

Wouldn't that be a better title for the Octomom's autobio?

Mon. 4/6/09 12:39pm From: Cecile

Carly Rabalais. Reminds me of Tiffany Chaucer.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:39pm From: BSI

well, shoot. If you don't use "All I Got Is Eggs", I will.
....got a couple of orphan songs that could use a name like that.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:41pm From: stingy d

yes please take these eggs away, my infant friend.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:42pm From: jeroen kuster

Mon. 4/6/09 12:44pm From: Parq

'Cile, I was trying to come up with a good double-meaning gag about the phrase, but as usual, I've been outclassed.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:46pm From: stingy d

this mississippi record label is on fire if you ask me.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:47pm From: still b/p

Mon. 4/6/09 12:48pm From: Cecile

Stinge, my friend swears by it. he says it's most of the records he buys now

Mon. 4/6/09 12:50pm From: annie

sitting in a coffeeshop yesterday; a couple strolled in to pick up their bread order. the fellow was dressed in dark clothing, black, brown, all dark. except one thing he thought would be secret(or not) he had pink flamingo socks on.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:50pm From: stingy d

yea they have lots of great stuff going on. sometimes it's whatever, but it's all over the map, so there's bound to interest somewhere along the way. i keep reccomending "i'm so depressed" by abner jay to people. so now i reccomend it to you.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:53pm From: stingy d

aw man! my stupid girlfriend secretly ate a 25¢ bag of chips! i wanted some!! it's fucking OVER

Mon. 4/6/09 12:54pm From: Carmichael

Mon. 4/6/09 12:56pm From: Dr. Phil

Mon. 4/6/09 12:56pm From: stingy d

she probably used MYYyyYY fucking quarter too, if i ever see her again, we're punching. hands down.

get bent drew, fuckin egomaniac!

Mon. 4/6/09 12:57pm From: Dr. Drew

I resemble that remark

Mon. 4/6/09 12:57pm From: stingy d

dr phil definitely walks into things and bumps his head when he bends over. thats my opinion of that dunce.

Mon. 4/6/09 12:58pm From: Cecile

Play some B-52s! The real stuff!
How about "Give Me Back My Man?"

Mon. 4/6/09 12:59pm From: Dr. Phil

I resent that resemblance!

Mon. 4/6/09 12:59pm From: Bill W

awesome show, Liz, and I really needed it today!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:00pm From: stingy dangerfield

no respect i tell ya

Mon. 4/6/09 1:02pm From: Ike

GP, I agree on Hill Country. It's awesome. And I'm not usually all that big on meat-heavy cuisine. BUT, it's no secret. I tried to take my visiting parents there on Friday night and it was 90 minute wait! Ugh! So we went to a lame Persian place instead... sigh. Sunday we had much more luck at an AMAZING Lebanese place, Kamil's, in Clifton NJ.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:05pm From: Cecile

The overlap betewen Lebanese/Turkish/Greek food is probably my favorite in the whole world

Mon. 4/6/09 1:08pm From: dc pat

It's the Mediterranean cuisine thing which includes some Italian, Spanish, northern Africa. good stuff.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:10pm From: Parq

I *need* a pair of pink flamingo socks.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:12pm From: annie

parq, they were sooo wonderful. i'll keep my eye out..

Mon. 4/6/09 1:13pm From: BSI

All I got is flamingo eggs.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:18pm From: north guinea hills

i've been digging the near tapes label lately.....

flamingo eggs, in my milkshake...

Mon. 4/6/09 1:22pm From: dc pat

ah, I remember the days when socks were of extreme importance--I still have some fluorescent orange and green socks.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:25pm From: north guinea hills

ahh, you're playing angel's new ep, very different from his other AAM stuff. that kid hooked me up in monterrey, mexico....

Mon. 4/6/09 1:27pm From: Parq

Pat, I'm doing my level best to bring those days back. I've worn out more pair of bright-colored or otherwise eye-catching socks than most jacket-and-tie men buy in a lifetime.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:31pm From: Sean Daily

RAWK. Dot matrix-core...

Mon. 4/6/09 1:32pm From: Pearly Sweets

I was enjoying printer jam last week during the aunties show.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:33pm From: north guinea hills

back in my f-l-a days, i used to wear fluorescent orange totes as socks w/ camo pants and my fluorescent orange bowery electric tee. those totes disappeared in my move up here, and a cat destroyed the tee.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:34pm From: dc pat

this reminds me of Man or Astroman and their dot matrix tune.

Parq: Last Saturday I wore my crazy bright block pattern socks and creepers to a bot mitzvah (how ever you spell).

Mon. 4/6/09 1:35pm From: Liz B.

It took some resistance to not play that Man Or Astroman track after "Printer Jam"!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:35pm From: gerardo

disco time?. great!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:36pm From: dc pat

Liz! Do not resist!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:37pm From: eveley

I love modern chiptunes :)

Mon. 4/6/09 1:37pm From: Cecile

One word. Sylvester. That would make both me and Pearly feel mighty real.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:40pm From: Pearly Sweets

Pump it up.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:41pm From: still b/p

stingy's girlfriend nicked his bag of chiptunes.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:41pm From: GP

Sorry, just back from lunch meeting and what totally sucks is that my soundcard is now acting up.. I can see the playlist but I hear nothing ( problem not with FMU, it is my PC). Will be rebooting here for the 2nd time.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:48pm From: gerardo

oh! that droids tracks's from my teens, lol

Mon. 4/6/09 1:48pm From: Liz B.

Cannot.... resist.... space.... disco!!!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:48pm From: Pearly Sweets

Mon. 4/6/09 1:49pm From: gerardo

Mon. 4/6/09 1:50pm From: Cecile

Mon. 4/6/09 1:52pm From: Pearly Sweets

Ahhh... that's so nice.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:52pm From: Jøe Steele

I should really start using umbrellas.

Mon. 4/6/09 1:52pm From: Cecile

*does the bus stop*

Mon. 4/6/09 1:52pm From: gerardo

funk time! - wooooo!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:53pm From: Cecile

cause it's raining men, Joe?

Mon. 4/6/09 1:54pm From: Pearly Sweets

Liz, you are aces. Now join our disco/spacefunk kick line!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:54pm From: Parq

I'm not sure either, Miz Liz, but my white shirt and dark blue suit are suddenly reversing colors, and my shirt collar is creeping up over the jacket lapels. My hair! I can't make it comb down!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:54pm From: Cecile

you better be dancing around that console. Liz

Mon. 4/6/09 1:54pm From: gerardo

Mon. 4/6/09 1:56pm From: GP

Mon. 4/6/09 1:57pm From: Cecile

Mon. 4/6/09 1:58pm From: Cecile

Mon. 4/6/09 1:58pm From: Pearly Sweets

You Lucky Skunk! I am mega jealous!

Mon. 4/6/09 1:59pm From: annie

liz, it was fun! i just sailed through all this work! and even had a chance to wiggle a dance in, too.

Mon. 4/6/09 2:00pm From: Ike

Wow, the board ganged up on Liz! Kinda not cool.

Mon. 4/6/09 2:00pm From: Cecile

they were great. Wonderful stuff.
He was very intense and scary onstage, but my friends talked to him, and he was a sweetheart.
Both times there were under 30 people at the show in Detroit. This was when I lived in Ann Arbor.

Both times, a KILLER version of One Nation Under a Groove, too.

Mon. 4/6/09 2:01pm From: Cecile

She doesn't sound too upset.
Now, I will not bug her cause she played Sylvester.
The bear can return to its lair.

Mon. 4/6/09 2:03pm From: Pearly Sweets

About eight years back or so I started doing some deep searching for different 80s funk/disco/and electro and they were by far the finest of my finds.

Mon. 4/6/09 2:04pm From: Pearly Sweets

Did they exhume Dave Blood?

Mon. 4/6/09 2:04pm From: gerardo

cecile's right... it was a Force possession case

Mon. 4/6/09 2:04pm From: Jøe Steele

Mon. 4/6/09 2:28pm From: GP

Mon. 4/6/09 2:29pm From: Parq

It seems that Miz Liz is trying to maximize the culture shock when we switch to quiet music with Irene in a half hour. Joe, re 2:04 post - "to" or "down"?

Mon. 4/6/09 2:29pm From: GP

Stingy as long as you and your crew aren't giving Costes a run for for his money..if you know what I mean!

Mon. 4/6/09 2:31pm From: stingy d
