Listener comments!

  12:21pm Cecile:

Fabio, we'll miss you here on day shift! Bon voyage to Wednesday night.
  12:26pm jonathan:

i'd never heard that animals song before. so good.
although i did see a very bloated eric burdon (with martini in hand) at a metal shop show in l.a.
  12:33pm jonathan:

why is this your last afternoon show?
this is the best day of radio!!
  12:50pm Faust:

Failure to embrace change
I will miss hearing the show in this time slot. If I miss it too much, I guess I can still listen to the archive during this time. But then when would I listen to Joe Belock?
  1:00pm jonathan:

i missed getting the tickets. i knew it.
  1:04pm Bad Ronald:

I had to use three different machines because the page kept timing out from the traffic but it worked.
  1:30pm Droll:

Right channel is back -- Devillock most have overcome the weak little turntable and made that feeble channel run home to mommy!
Too bad, great stuff!
  1:36pm Sean Daily:

"Isolated rain" in Burma... Was this before or after the typhoon?
  2:30pm (mta) Tony:

You're certainly going to be missed over here, Fabio. We're faced with the same dilemma as Faust. The problem is fmu has too many good dj's, there's only so many hours in a day, and we listeners must sleep at some point. Gonna miss waking up to Mr. Giant Man! Can't do THAT from an archive! Good luck.
  2:48pm jonathan:

goddamn! this fall of nature thing is relentless and great!
  2:49pm (mta) Tony:

Jonathan, two other great but rarely heard Animals songs are, "We Love You Lil" from The Twain Shall Meet, and "Love is for All Time" from Ark. Both very good and rarely heard. Fmu never even played the latter, but you can hear the former on several fmu archives. If you're an Animals fan, you should know those two songs as well as the other "official" hits. If you're want, I can send you "Love is for All Time" on an .mp3 for you to hear before buying the recently released CD.
  2:52pm jonathan:

tony.
thanks! i would love to hear that stuff!
  2:57pm north guinea hills:

damn, i missed you playing a larry seven piece i've never heard!!!! i'll wait for the archives!
  2:57pm Cecile:

I'm getting choked up here. I'm a sucker for Burt Bacharach.
