We once had squirrels in our attic. They got into a box of old china tea cups and saucers, and scattered the dishes and cups all around the attic. I think they were having a tea party! The only solution that works to get rid of them is this: Drag an old boom box up there on an extension cord and play some heavy metal really loudly on repeat for a few hours. It helps to leave the house during this time. And let the rodent poltergeist and the metal do the work. Rodents like a peaceful environment, they'll move out.

Saw the Sinceros when they were on the tour promoting this album. They were dyno! j in Brewtown

I tired that once. When I came back, the squirrels were all wearing little leather jackets and chains and smoking tiny non-filter cigarettes.

Off screen Zeppo was considered by many to be the funniest Marx Brother.

Sat Oct. 27, 2007 11:05am From: Mr. Mickey Mephistopheles

K, Mike, if you're playing Halloween stuff, slip in the Joe Meek produced "Night of the Vampire" by the Moontrekkers. (And please, no Monster Mash)

Everything is not beautiful, in its own way. The sheik of the burning sands.

You conduct the best interviews with the most interesting guests!

Mon Oct. 29, 2007 2:28pm From: Rick

The version of Haunted House you played was not by Ray Stevens but Sam The Sham. Yikes!

Mon Oct. 29, 2007 3:13pm From: Greg

Michael - the Haunted House cut you played immediately prior to the Ray Stevens interview was done by Jumpin' Gene Simmons, a Memphis guy. It was on Hi records. Perhaps someone already pointed this out and I'm sputtering about ancient history. I enjoyed the interview. Speaking of folks from outta the Atlanta scene, any chance of a Jerry Reed interview?

Mon Oct. 29, 2007 3:44pm From: Greg

Just for the sake of history: Rick was correct...Sam the Sham & The Pharoahs cut the Haunted House in question.

Another great interview Mikee. The Lampoon Mel Brewer
(Bill Murray) Sea Shanty thing is great. Now It always makes me think of the Decemberists...God I hate them.
Hey how about an interview with Phil Spector Engineer
Larry Levine.
