Shoulda just posted here. That Tonka 7" is heavenly. Caffeine addled is so apropos. Listen to that song "Sunday". It's amazing. This is a prime nugget you've resurrected Mr. Lupica.

Cool, thanks Adrian! Tonka was indeed a blinding joy to behold... I think their relative isolation in the wilds of the Carolinas contributed a lot to their sound. Sort of a last hurrah for the pre-internet times when the only satellite that little bands scattered across the country had was MRR's scene report section.
