Oh I do all this stuff on a computer. I think it's odd people do this stuff on phones. still not used to being a cell phone user. I keep it plugged into the wall at home and only use it for texting and I've called maybe three people on it. but don't really like the shape of that next to my face. so it distracts me.
It's not a big deal about me being able to show off emojis, but this pledge drive is the first time I thought about the fact it encourages others.

Yes! about ten years before I got one I actually saw old school phone receivers for sale that you plug into your phone. I should of got one. Maybe I'll hunt for one to get now.
I do like talking on the phone when i can do it with that shape.
and I really just text my husband. to see why he's running late coming home from work. seems like such a waste of fancy technology.

Do you remember that Australian band the Onyas? Mad Macka who is now in the Cosmic Psychos used to be in that band. Anyway when they were in Eugene and came into the record store I worked at he was talking to me about how Australia is different with music scenes. food and lodging provided to entertainers, even punks and the bars get conpensated for it by the government. I think that is so cool. truly supporting the arts.

That show, in 1978, I was suffering with serum hepatitus - I was wearing a white tee shirt and 501 jeans, with a red ballcap. Devo kept looking at me - and when they stripped off their yellow jumpsuits, Mark threw his right at me! Well, myself, Tony White (a friend), and two other guys, grabbed it! Tony, the fucker, let me fend the other two off, using what little strength I had, then grabbed the jumpsuit away from me! Karma did get him later on - his house caught on fire, and it burned up! If I had have gotten it, I'd still have it!

I think maybe. The “Live Workforce” bootleg was recorded at that same venue the next night. I don’t think this has been released before, but my original reel to reel tape of it was lost or stolen in the early 80s, so maybe it was.
