@Blissland; on the way back from Montreal Expo 1967, my mother rolled our VW Bug convertible (w/4 kidz in the car) I was a sleeping infant👶,no injuries - & my siblings were only slightly injured despite being thrown from the vehicle into the grassy sides. Road was under🦺construction 🚧 , it had ‘soft shoulders’. It was an expo adventure for all. We are all 🥜&🔩to this day.

when i was 6, we had a sub bus driver and she got lost. I told her she missed the the turn and she would have to turn around. she turned onto a narrow dirt road to attempt an ill-advised 3-point turn, and flipped the bus upside down in a ditch. i got a bloody nose, some kids got bruised, but no one was seriously hurt. most kids were crying, i was just annoyed i was going to miss my afternoon cartoons.

I usta recall all the locations where I made music purchases - still do for most, but it fades a bit as the years flash onward & the fickle finger of fate crooks you toward it. Indeed, wonderful youthful memories filled with nostalgia… even for the umpteenth hours spent hunting for oddball music finds in holes in the walls places. 99 Records was one of the bestest I’d ever experienced. The dense quality of stocked weirdness to size space ratio was astounding! & Cheap Thrills in Montreal was pretty great as well.

well, they offered to pay for my flight, but only if i move up by Dec 18. i'd be a contractor and only work 4 hours total (gov't bureaucracy shit). problem is, then I won't start officially until jan 8th (can't be a contractor and an official employee on the same calendar year). that, and i was going to spend xmas w/ my brothers and nieces (my father is dead to me, and my mother is in a memory care center), and I can't get the logistics of moving done that fast. this offer came to me via a meeting w/ my boss this afternoon...(i might be freaking out...[in a good way])

- Usta appreciate “Oblique” records (shop &…?)=i believe related to ‘Ambience Magnetique’ label with ex-CONVENTUM folks (Rene Lussier, André Duchesne, Robert Lepage, etc.). I once sawer a very memorable audio installation that had 360° speakers in a room that sounded like a heavy marble was rolling around a frame drum inside our heads ! = best subtle audio trick I’ve ever experienced. Fun heady daze.

Hells yes. One detail of it could be about how, the night of the bike accident I was headed to the Cottage House in Flagstaff for a show. i once had high school soccer practice. one of the girls from the women's team thought it would be cute if she would swipe my shoes. Since, I wouldn't ruin my boots (cleats), i walked home barefoot in the florida heat two miles home across a 6 lane highway barefoot. i did get a date out of it, as i knew who took my shoes.

a beach story, an older teenage friend, i was about 9, went rto this beach club after season was over, they had it staked out, we were able to climb up to 2nd 3rd floor where bar was, they empttied the bar of liquor, threw the bottles down to friends waiting below, there was a bonfire down there teenagers getting drunk, i remember drinkinking lancers wine
