	♥ 6:12am dale: amanda, wife and i tried to foster two baby mice that were nesting in my car's cabin air filter. cute, wriggly things what with their eyes still closed....could get them to drink goat milk and kitten formula for about three days and then they refused to swallow anything, no matter how much it was thinned for their teeny throats...lost the last one yesterday. we are sleepless and sad.
	♥ 6:14am Amanda: I think it's next to impossible to raise a baby mammal that young if you do not have proper supplies/nutrition. A wildlife rehabber might be able to help if it ever happens again. But not sure if they do lil baby mice. Sorry for your loss, they were loved.

	♥ 6:20am dale: we had the tiniest pipettes, proper heated incubator, right foods (according to the internet), rubbed their bellies and nethers so they would pee and poo, tried to feed every hour and a half etc. they may have already had an infection. i also found a dead full sized mouse in the car so maybe they hadn't been fed in a while and were cold. or maybe mom had been poisoned and passed on whatever she ate in her milk. i had visions of carrying a mouse around in my pocket, sort of like joel grey in that christmas cartoon.
	6:27am yippie: I got Kiki a puzzle feeder so she needs to move these shapes around to find which shape I put her food under. the vet said it helps her get smarter.
	♥ 6:32am Amanda: We use homemade puzzle boxes for our cat, but just for treats. He is frustrated by them, but he gets the treat out eventually.
