	5:32pm Van Winkle ;-): I love these "conversations"...they always stir up lots of fine memories of shows/music that had such a big impact on quite a few of us...I suspect. Cramps at Commodore Ballroom early 1982...was a fine show....as was that Vancouver show by The Jam...back in '79. It was definitely the emergence of a strong and supportive DIY ethos/period that touched many cultural matters back then...because there were no other options. Especially on the "tech" front...no cells, no internet but lots of indie spirit.

	5:32pm Van Winkle ;-): I love these "conversations"...they always stir up lots of fine memories of shows/music that had such a big impact on quite a few of us...I suspect. Cramps at Commodore Ballroom early 1982...was a fine show....as was that Vancouver show by The Jam...back in '79. It was definitely the emergence of a strong and supportive DIY ethos/period that touched many cultural matters back then...because there were no other options. Especially on the "tech" front...no cells, no internet but lots of indie spirit.
