⦿Sun in ♓︎Pisces, Year of Fire 🐓Rooster
' Johann "Hans" Hölzel (German: [ˈjoːhan ˈhœlt͡sl̩]; 19 February 1957 – 6 February 1998), better known by his stage name Falco, was an Austrian singer and musician. He had several international hits including "Der Kommissar" (1981), "Rock Me Amadeus", "Vienna Calling", "Jeanny", "The Sound of Musik", "Coming Home (Jeanny Part II, One Year Later)", and posthumously "Out of the Dark".
"Rock Me Amadeus" reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1986, making Falco the only artist in history whose principal language was German, to score a vocal number-one hit in the United States. According to his estate, he has sold 20 million albums and 40 million singles, which makes him the best-selling Austrian singer of all time.
Also notable was his very early creation of a successful non-English language rap music song (Der Kommissar), recorded in December 1981.[citation needed] '

Yep. BIS these days issues most of its CDs in SACD, for which I finally last year acquired a player. I've been comparing recordings of Sibelius symphonies, first from an old Warner recording with Berglund, then a BIS with Vanska. The latter is sonically stunning, but I think I prefer Berglund at the helm.

Smokey had an unparalleled ability to raise song lyrics to a point where they stop being 'lyrics' and sound almost like organic conversation. Now that you mention it, there is a Lazy Glen Passaic in the Stork Club Cocktail Bible. The cocktail that put the Snooze Bar on the map was, in fact, created by bartender and sometime action hero "Squinty" Samuels during his time at the Stork. Squinty's manager, Ricky "the Spoon" Smallwich, had been on Squinty's back about the declining stocks of Glen Passaic, and blamed it on Squinty's dedication to customer incentives like the third-drink buyback, the thank-you shot, the you're-welcome shot, and the don't-mention-it shot. "Sure I like a buyback," said Squinty, "but you think I'd waste Glen Passaic on gratuities?" Still, he was intrigued: stocks were declining. After weeks of close observation, Squinty discerned the truth: such is the capillary action and the dubious moral character of the Glen Passaic that it was creeping out of the bottles at night, having a little smoke, cheating at poker, and maybe losing a few drams before slipping back into the bottle for some rest. Knowing a good gimmick when he saw one, Squinty hit on the innovation behind this simplest of Stork Club cocktails.

2oz Glen Passaic
Ace of Clubs

Pour Glen Passaic into shot glass. Fold ace of clubs up small, and place on tongue. Take nap. Glen Passaic will creep out of glass and infuse itself into mouth in attempt to make off with ace. Swallow.
