Yes I would think so. I don't know Egyptian dialect, but the Modern Standard Arabic dictionary says "deceptive, delusive, fallacious, illusory". And this corresponds to my understanding of "dunya gharara" in Moroccan Gnawa lyrics - this (worldly) life is deceiving.

El Sobrante now, off of skyline drive and yeah, a felled tree was blocking the road to my parent’s house a few days ago- the fire dept were there and someone came with a cherry picker and chain saw and within an hour moved it out of the way leaving a chunk of toot that looked like a giant claw.
