I'm looking forward to our neighborhood Halloween parade at 5 this evening. After that many other local children come our way - our street is pretty popular for trick or treaters. We usually get around 125. Our dog hates every minute of it!

A cabbie picks up a Nun.
She gets into the cab and notices that the VERY handsome cab driver won’t stop staring at her.
She asks him why he is staring.
He replies:
“I have a question to ask, but I don’t want to offend you”
She answers,
”My son, you cannot offend me. When you’re as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I’m sure that there’s nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.”
"Well, I’ve always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.”
She responds,
“Well, let’s see what we can do about that – you have to be single and you must be Catholic.”
The cab driver is very excited and says,
“Yes, I’m single and Catholic!”
“OK,” the nun says. “Pull into the next alley.”
The nun fulfills his fantasy with a kiss that would make one blush.
But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.
“My dear child,” said the nun, why are you crying?”

On the night of the party there was a knock on the door.
Frank opened the door to see John dressed in all blue. Frank asked what is he dressed as and John answered he’s blue with Sadness. Frank said great costume, come on in.
There was another knock on the door and when Frank opened the door there was Bob dressed in all green. Frank asked him was he was dressed as and Bob answered he’s green with Envy. Frank said great costume, come on in.

He’s making his rounds and enjoying some drinks and the host comes up to him and asks “So what are you supposed to be?”

A couple was invited to a swanky masked Halloween party.
They were ready to leave when the wife came down with a headache. She told her husband to go to the party, no need to miss it because of her headache. So the husband left for the party.
About an hour later his wife's headache went away and she felt better. She put on her costume and went to the party.
As she arrived, she spotted her husband cavorting around the dance floor, dancing with every nice woman he could, copping a little kiss here & there.
The wife sidled up to him and let him go as far as he wished.
Finally, he whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed.
So they went off to one of the cars and had a hot romantic moment.
Just before the midnight unmasking she slipped away and went home, got in bed, and wondered what kind of explanation he would have.
As he entered the bedroom she asked, "Did you have a good time? Did you dance much?"
He replied, "You know I never have any fun if you are not with me. I never danced one dance.
When I got there I met some of my friends and we played cards.
I lent my costume to some guy. He said he had a terrific time."

Atlas 5 • JPSS 2 & LOFTID
Launch time: 0925 GMT (5:25 a.m. EDT; 2:25 a.m. PDT)
Launch site: SLC-3E, Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket, designated AV-098, will launch Joint Polar Satellite System 2, or JPSS 2, polar-orbiting weather satellite for NASA and NOAA. Built by Northrop Grumman, JPSS 2 will provide global weather observations for medium and long-term forecasts. The Atlas 5 will also launch the Low-Earth Orbit Flight Test of an Inflatable Decelerator, or LOFTID, re-entry aeroshell vehicle on a test flight. LOFTID is a joint project between NASA and ULA. The rocket will fly in the 401 vehicle configuration with a four-meter fairing, no solid rocket boosters, and a single-engine Centaur upper stage. Delayed from Sept. 30 due to anomaly during testing of the satellite’s Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite, or VIIRS, instrument.

Launch time: 1340 GMT (9:40 a.m. EDT)
Launch site: LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida
A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket will launch the USSF 44 mission for the U.S. Space Force. The mission is expected to deploy two spacecraft payloads directly into geosynchronous orbit, one of which is the military’s TETRA 1 microsatellite. The Falcon Heavy’s two side boosters will land at Landing Zone 1 and 2 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and the core stage will be expended. Delayed from late 2020, 2nd quarter of 2021, July 2021, and October 2021 by payload issues. Delayed from early 2022 and June 2022. Delayed from Oct. 28.

Falcon 9 • Hotbird 13G
Launch time: 0325 GMT on 3rd (11:25 p.m. EDT on 2nd)
Launch site: SLC-40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Hotbird 13G television broadcasting satellite for Eutelsat. Hotbird 13G is the second satellite to be built on Airbus’s new Eurostar Neo all-electric spacecraft design, and will provide television broadcast services to Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.

The falls by the furnace was a diving hole. Probably the smallest and most dangerous around. Looking down it I can’t imagine someone actually jumping off of it. The height combined with the small landing, and then how deep could it be… F-ing nutz to try that. But thats what I’ve heard from locals.
