Stan Ridgway told me that he was walking down the street in Venice and a record album came flying out the window of a passing car. He picked it up - it was Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson. The car was stopped at a traffic light, and Dennis was in the passenger seat. He said "Hey Dennis, I'm a big fan!" Dennis looked sheepish and sluncked down in his seat totally embarrassed and said "Thanks man." Then the car sped away.
