Obvs, some people feel more comfortable doing such things right now, but with the numbers the way they are, it seems like too big a risk for now in our calculations.

	♥ 8:29am Handy Haversack: Juli, one thing that worked really well in training a strong-willed dog was, when antisocial behavior like that came up, to impose a brief timeout of social isolation. Dogs are intensely reactive to human social interaction. So a sudden 20-30 second timeout (securing the leash and walking away or closing a door) with a repeated command ("too bad!") can be really useful. And you can treat everything as a training opportunity. Have them lie down, reward with a treat when you go back to them after the timeout. Pit bulls are the wonderfulest dogs on the planet! Big cuddly love dogs!

	♥ 8:29am Handy Haversack: Juli, one thing that worked really well in training a strong-willed dog was, when antisocial behavior like that came up, to impose a brief timeout of social isolation. Dogs are intensely reactive to human social interaction. So a sudden 20-30 second timeout (securing the leash and walking away or closing a door) with a repeated command ("too bad!") can be really useful. And you can treat everything as a training opportunity. Have them lie down, reward with a treat when you go back to them after the timeout. Pit bulls are the wonderfulest dogs on the planet! Big cuddly love dogs!
