Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16am mariano:

clarke: I have anxiety attacks when I go grocery shopping this time of year because of the walls of different types of king cake. I could go through Robert's like Pac Man and eat them all, but I really try to be good with the sweets. Regarding Rouse's: kind of a moot point for me since Robert's is one block away for me. I really hate that one of the Rouses took part in the Keystone Koup though.

Thanks Mike for being a leading proponent of decaf. It helped me get through a week in which self-styled revolutionaries/domestic terrorists still needed to use the Metro stations and book themselves in to the Holiday Inns and Comfort Inns a few blocks away.   11:21am Dennis:

I call Bruce “Mr. Answer Vocal”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:22am mariano:

That's really sweet, mike east. Those moments are precious.

clarke: I haven't kept up with the story in much detail. I first heard about it on Nextdoor, where there's been a huge dustup over it, but I've been really busy scrapping on other venues over national politics (just earned my coveted fourth Breitbart ban, booyah!). And yeah, I was just musing to Handy and David (in London) the other day about the blessing of always having two types of gumbo on hand a block away at Robert's soup bar. We won't mention the king cake thank you very much.

Oh, for those of you not familiar with what clarke and I are jawing about, Rouses is a legendary grocery chain in Louisiana carrying lots of Creole and Cajun goodies. One of the owners apparently was present at the DC riots, so now there's a growing boycott movement.
  11:30am Dennis:

CG is 4-track, I believe. Yes, live!
  11:30am clarke:

  12:57pm Dennis Diken:

Mikey - like any great musician/artist, he had his own voice on his instrument and expressed it well. Great feel, songplayer
  12:57pm DG:

Yea on Tinted Windows! That album didn't get enough play & now there's no hope of a reunion....some good Cheap Trick/bubblegum/powerpop with a group of people you wouldn't expect to see in the same band.

I know it's a little long for your show, but the Roland Kirk version of "ISay a Little Prayer" is some kind of #1 Hit.
  1:00pm DG:

Hahaha....those Paul Stanley clips are all over YouTube (I assume excerpts from the audio version of his book). He trashes everyone, but I guess $$ kept them together.
