Hey, @ultra, Scott, and everyone else out there. Happy New Year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:06pm

Hi Nate and everyone. Hope all is well.

Nate K.:

Howdy, Medson.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:12pm
Nate K.:

Love this arrangement of "It's My Life," almost unrecognizable as the Animals song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19pm

This track is making me happy with my new speakers and placement.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:20pm
Nate K.:

@Medson, it's 8 minutes of good vibes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21pm

That works for me. ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm

How is not common knowledge that Wendy Rene was the queen of stax?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:40pm
Nate K.:

INACCUplay in full effect. Sorry for the update delay.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43pm

It’s all good Nate.

Nate K.:

Expanding the borders a bit with this one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm

I remember really loving the Paul Revere and the Raiders version of this song when I was a kid. It doesn't stand up against Lightning any better than that other stuff you were talking about during the break, but pretty cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:29pm

Nice blues going on. My grandfather was a big blues fan. Probably where I got it from. I still have of a lot of his 78’s
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35pm
Nate K.:

My dad listened to almost nothing but doo-wop and Motown when I was a kid, so that definitely planted the seed for a lot of this stuff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38pm

I think I prefer the version on All That May Do My Rhyme. I liked TLCOAE the first time I heard and less every time since once the novelty of the little sonic ornaments Sheff threw in there wore off.
Ignore Function:

Saw The Flatlanders toward the end of 2019 and they opened with that song. Beautiful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45pm
Nate K.:

@ultra I'm working in reverse. Hated the ornaments, finding them slightly less annoying the more I re-encounter that album.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:46pm
Nate K.:

@Ignore, that's great! Never had the opportunity see the Flatlanders or any of them individually. Hope to someday.
Ignore Function:

It was longer ago than 2019 now that I think about it, but yeah it was great. I recommend the live album from a show in 1972.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:57pm

Being on the stream, you could have played Tastebuds, KK&BBQ's dirtiest tune
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58pm
Nate K.:

Tastebuds might actually be too dirty even for the stream. Haha.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58pm
Nate K.:

Thanks everybody!
