one of my cat sitting clients goes to a vet in JC and she totally raves about him (AND the reasonable prices) -- can find his name/contact info if you want -- i go to Animal Infirmary of Hoboken, part of Dr. Tuder's practice (two locations in JC) -- i believe that they are always walk-in/no appointment required, but with COVID, that may not be the case right now

When I first called Clifton, they said there was a two hour wait. When I arrived, they said it was two or three hours. They asked to take Miss Kitka in while we waited in the car. I had packed her carrier with her favorite things, and her carrier is where she hangs out at home, so she feels safe in there.

FOUR HOURS LATER and I've had no word. I call, and end up on hold for 18 minutes.

While I was on hold, I got a text from the vet to call them.

It's now been four and a half hours by the time I actually talk to the vet. She says that she hasn't gotten to even examine Miss Kitka yet, but looking at her she looks fine, and that I could just take her to my local vet next week.

They let me take her with no charge, because I was PISSED that my cat was just sitting in a vets office for 4 hours for no reason, and they brought her back to me in a MESH SHOULDER BAG because they lost her carrier.

I took her home, then she had another seizure at midnight, so back we went to Clifton.

I had to take a cab, so they let me sit in the vestibule. AGAIN it took four hours. After an hour or two, I asked if I could at least have my cat i the vestibule with me.

By the time they let me take her home the folllowing afternoon, she'd had blood tests and an Xray. Charged me $980. Had no answers for me whatsoever. And told me to put her on seiuzure medication that I'd have to give her every 8 hours for the rest of her life, and that I needed to go to a neurologist and get her an MRI and spinal tap.

Get well soon Bro Knutt. Most of those cases are not as bad as the common cold, depending what population you are in. Its raising havoc in my ethnicity. I had a foot long q tip shoved up my nose only to find I was negative!
