Moody Luna (the Moon) in talkative curious distractible versatile Gemini all day Sunday (27th) & Monday
- on Her way to being Full on Tuesday evening in Her own sign of nurturing feeling domestic Cancer to help round out a year of some interesting emotions...
Also today - Sunday 27th - Sun in Capricorn will be forming a flowing 120degree Trine aspect to Uranus in Taurus - exact @ 22:25 Eastern time. These are practical material sensual Earth signs to contrast with Gemini being abstract Air - but with electric Uranus flowing with the egoistic shining Sun - there should be an innovative & altruistic cast to it : an interesting combination of influences!
Early on Wednesday morning Eastern time - lovely sociable Venus now in adventurous Sagittarius makes a dynamic challenging 90degree Square aspect to nebulous imaginative empathic Neptune now having a long swim in the oceans of His own sign of mystic Pisces. This may tend towards delusion in relations & sentiments - but excess may be the only danger in these two expansive broadminded signs. Aesthetic inspiration & compassion may result - to go with the big bright moody Cancer Moon midweek...

I received a 'weighted blanket' for Christmas. At first I was very confused and didn't know what to make of it, so put it aside. Viccy suggested I check it out online and I found a whole world of these things. I slept under it last night and had a great sleep. I'm now in love with my new blanket.
Avatar 7:11am Sylvia (France-NYC):

@Brian in UK I'm inland, still very windy and rainy. I don't like storms. Last year, during a May storm, the top of the tree in my yard fell down, just before my eyes (no damage to the house nor people). it was scary.
Right now I'm worried about the brand new trampoline my son got for Christmas.

Correcting myself above, for the record. Saw SR in early 2000s. Publicly facing my awful memory of dates and times. Blech. :-/
It was an amazing show though, Heidee! My friend said someone suddenly couldn’t make it and would I like to, I had not heard of them prior. I remember our seats were way up in the nose bleed section of the theater. I didn’t want to step out for a drink or anything, didn’t want to miss one second.
Avatar 7:40am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Tend to be down on StarWars - but it's hard not to catch the buzz listening to these !... I was enuff of a SciFi nerd I was hyped about it before it came out - & then it became supertrendy. It was going to be Tolkien X 2001. It fulfilled some of that - the 1st one especially - but I went right off it...

My uncle in law, Bill, played the officer who escorts Luke to Darth when he gives himself up in Return of the Jedi. I always whoop when that scene comes on.

Yes, Rev Rabbit. Odd I vividly remember being there, experiencing it all, but just awful at recalling the exact date, or year! Going to chalk it up to difficult life events overshadowing that time frame.

Clyde has been up since 3:25 am demonstrating his need for attention by shredding paper, knocking over objects, and surprisingly, mimicking the vocalizations of his best feline buddy, Jerry, the meow of the cartoon "Simon's Cat," and finishing his concert with the tiny mews of the new kitten next door.
So tired and so much work to do today!

How are you?
Horrid semester is over but just as I ws going to start grading mountains of papers, my computer crashed and was deemed not really worthy of fixing. Couldn't afford a new one so had to wait for the disgruntled Dean to personally drop off a dynabook so I could begin this truly arduous task. I need to finish the process but I am so out of sync after my cat's antics and my lack of sleep. Wah wah wah boo hoo hoo, as SAM the computer would say.

@Deborah, I read when you shared the news the other day about your confounded computer and I really felt for you. And work doesn't just diminish but pile up. Argh. Can you do less in just some way? Avatar 8:39am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Yeah like I said I went right off StarWars. If they re on for free I'd watch - same with maybe HarryPotter - tho even less interested in Harry...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39am Brian in UK:

When Stars Wars first appeared it had better production values than Doctor Who or Blake's Seven, a low bar. The opening shot got my attention but like YETI BOB I never returned.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41am YETI BOB:

@Brian: I had to go ogle Pinky and Perky, I had never heard of them. Wow! Looks so cheap.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41am dale:

rented the first harry potter and i thought it looked like escape from witch mountain. utter crap.
Avatar 8:42am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43am Stanley:

Same thing for Lord of the Rings but I put that right by watching all three back to back, with scheduled meal breaks, at a special screening at the cinema.
I was completely turned off Harry Potter when parents I knew were raving about what were, essentialy, children's books.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43am Brian in UK:

YETI BOB it was the BBC in the Sixties. The rubbish that is stored in my grey room never ceases to amaze.

Avatar 8:44am Sem:

Worked as an usher at the last independent movie house in the province. Seven showings a day, 600 seats, crowds for miles for that first film. A zoo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44am YETI BOB:

@Brian: "Pinky wore red clothes and Perky wore blue, but this distinction was of little use on monochrome TV, so Perky often wore a hat"
Avatar 8:44am JB from NP:

@dale the later Harry Potter movies are much better. They seem a little silly to adults, but the last 2 are very good. None do justice to the books, which are great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44am YETI BOB:

@Brian: My grey room is full of it too, but just a slightly different, American flavor (flavour?)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47am YETI BOB:

You know how people put on "Dark Side of the Moon" and watch "Wizard of Oz" with the sound off? There's got to be something you could put on while watching "Saturday Night Fever". (Maybe a Gnod album)
