	7:18pm Fox: northguineahills: My landlord won't fix the mold in my building that I now know has been making me super sick since I moved here. I went on rent strike, so he's evicting me instead of fixing it. This place is the longest I've ever lived anywhere in my entire life. Go figure.
	♥ 7:23pm northguineahills: @Fox: reminds me of my last Brooklyn landlord. Wouldn't live a hand for anything, so, we took care of the mice problem, and did home repair ourselves. Yet, our rent went up $1000 in two years, even though it was a POS where the commons was never cleaned (so, we did). There might me a NYC Health Code violation for mold (not sure about NJS), I vaguely remember a friend getting a landlord to redo his basement apt after a flooding.

My roommate moved out, and I told the landlord that I couldn't get a new roommate with the mold unaddressed, the kitchen still leaking, and electrical issues. The Health department can't do anything unless there's visible mold. Even though there was a mold test.

	7:40pm Fox: I started Marie Kondo-ing my space like three or four years ago. I'm only now finally getting to the point that I feel like I'm nearing completion. It's been a really slow slogging process. But it's very freeing emotionally. It's like defragging the hardrive of my brain through tangible real world action with objects that serve as talismans to my past.

Yet, our rent went up $1000 in two years, even though it was a POS where the commons was never cleaned (so, we did). There might me a NYC Health Code violation for mold (not sure about NJS), I vaguely remember a friend getting a landlord to redo his basement apt after a flooding.

My roommate moved out, and I told the landlord that I couldn't get a new roommate with the mold unaddressed, the kitchen still leaking, and electrical issues. It's been a really slow slogging process. But it's very freeing emotionally.
