Thanks Debbie, this is the stream that I programmed. Or, as we like to think of it, Sheena herself is behind the scenes spinning all the platters that matter.

i refreshed the player and now it's working. Stop the player, then start it again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm

We've got this known issue going on where sometimes a listener must stop and start their player between DJs. We're looking into it.
Avatar 3:31pm

Are there any New Wave or Punk themed Senior Citizen homes as of yet? I might sign up for that sooner rather than later...
Avatar 3:35pm
Mr Fab:

that song mentioned "Generation New Wave." A better term than "Generation X"?
Avatar 3:37pm
Debbie Davenport:

@ Rich, my internet goes out often. Usually a few times a show. sometimes it's just for about 2 or 3 minutes. I think that is my neighborhood's equipment issues. It happens with all of our internet. Like facebook too. It happened when I had dead air but I didn't realize it at first.
  3:37pm
Kornsnot:

Love you kitten
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm

I personally would love to DJ a punk senior home.

Hey gang! Was having BUTT trouble today... (not THAT BUTT, you pervs! )
Avatar 3:43pm
Domenic:

So Kitten around? I'm not home right now. In another place. And my family tells he the house is a lot quieter when I'm not there.....Here. I have the main WFMU streming off the Roku in the living room and Sheena's on the PC in the kitchen..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm
Rich in Washington:

That's what I do when I'm home, Domenic. I have Sheena's streaming in my bedroom/studio and in the living room, both on separate Rokus.
  3:49pm
Kornsnot:

feel better or else!!!!!! >>>:((((
Avatar 3:49pm
Domenic:

How do you get Sheena's on a Roku? what app are you using?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm
Rich in Washington:

I'm using the TuneIn app.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm
Rich in Washington:

You have to hunt for the Sheena app. It was sort of recently added. It should show up as a suggestion when searching for WFMU.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:52pm
Rich in Washington:

channel, I mean.
Avatar 3:53pm
Domenic:

OK. Tune In... they were not adding new channels for a while. Glad Sheena's got in.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:53pm
Rich in Washington:

If you're in the UK/Europe, you probably can't get anything on TuneIn. They recently dropped EU support for some dumb reason.
  3:54pm
chresti:

Hi kitten and sparklers! Driving home..,
Avatar 3:54pm
Domenic:

(sundown here in New Hampshire)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm
Rich in Washington:

Yeah, I'd been trying like hell to get them to list it, emailing them, etc, but it just finally popped up one day. I think someone who's got WFMU admin cred needs to go in and fine tune it, customize it, etc. because it's pretty generic looking compared to the mothership channel, Drummer stream.
Avatar 3:55pm
Debbie Davenport:

Hi Chresti!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:56pm
Rich in Washington:

Zoviet France is really underrated. I love them.
They've got a great radio program on Resonance.fm called A Duck In A Tree.
Avatar 4:00pm
Domenic:

My local jazz station has Tune-In customized (mostly) DJ photo's and program name pops up. Good! peristance paid off, or personal contacts.
Avatar 4:01pm
Kitten Sparkles:

Yeah, they're amazing. Saw eem ive at Jabberjaw around this time
Avatar 4:08pm
Kitten Sparkles:

But I like pretty much anything that has this much echo echo echo echo...
Avatar 4:11pm
Mr Fab:

Cant imagine what Zoviet France must have been like live, since there's something so inexplicable about their music. Can't even tell what instruments they use. If any? Figured it was a lot of tape stuff.
Avatar 4:16pm
Kitten Sparkles:

It was amzing, of course - but they had some hippie lady butoh dancerthat was a little bit on the annoying side. She did look like a seaweed ccovered mermaid, at least.
Avatar 4:17pm
Kitten Sparkles:

Yeah, a lot of tape stuff.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:25pm
WR:

Ok, my work here is done. Please take care of the stream and each other. We might not be so lucky next time.

[Translation: have been listening but gotta go join a work meeting now]

Avatar 4:53pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55pm
chresti:

I know someone that studied Butoh.
Avatar 4:56pm
Dolor-X:

I made the mistake of listening to some meditative rain stick music, while driving. Ran few stop signs, should have read the warning label.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:57pm
chresti:

Oops, Dolor-x.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm
Rich in Washington:

THis is lovely.

Carmichael, are things threatening to shut down over in your parts?
Avatar 5:09pm
Domenic:

what interesting noises!
  5:14pm
Dave in St Albans UK:

The show reminds me of the kind of stuff I could hear on European state run radio in the 70's and 80's . Nowadays its via the internet and radio is generally bland. The good old days :-)

German stations put out some powerhouse signals and they WDR, SDR, NDR etc. Night time the am band was crowded with goodies and occasionally the treat of long distance FM reception especially in the summer.
Avatar 5:21pm
Domenic:

US radio was always lame. Europe looks like place to be.
Avatar 5:36pm

this has been good bckground music-to-look-for-jobs by. As i endlessly fill out applications and send resumes out to the void..

Thanks for all the nice comments! Damn BUTT issues! I was going nuts trying to figure it out, BUTT it was actually a pretty simple fix that I shoulda tried first.. turning BUTT off and then opening it again! Duh. BUTT, in my defense, I had never had that particular BUTT problem before...
