Mom and I are doing a Zoom meeting, and Mom, G-d bless her, as a special treat, told me to order in some food from my absolute favorite restaurant's Thanksgiving menu--M Wells Steakhouse in Astoria (not a steakhouse--more of an Avante Garde French/Canadian place--you either love what the chef does or you don't--no actual steak on the menu).
	♥ 7:10pm spodiodi: eeeew, indded, threemoons. i had to pick up the diaper(s) in order to mow the lawn. and eventually i was the one to deconstruct the pallet trash bin, and dispose of the contents (at least the guy helped)
	♥ 7:11pm Threemoons: @slug--if you have the funds, get the Rancho Gordo pot; they sell out fast every year. If not, go La Chamba. Etsy has some "real deal" ones also but they START at $300-$400 whereas the Rancho Gordo one is only 75 beans or so as it were.

A car hit it and spread dirty diapers across my front yard. I did find a few random grill pieces and a turn signal lens in there too, so even though it was absolutely disgusting to have to deal with the diapers there was also an element of satisfaction knowing someone was going to be out their deductable, if not more.

	7:38pm Dean: I've made tamales a few years with my Hispanic mother-in-law. I'm not sure I can take it on just now, but I've enjoyed it. One year she bought masa from a joint in Pico Rivera. It had gone bad, so she returned it. I accompanied her to the joint (Slauson? Beverly?). In violation of County requirements, there was no letter in the window to indicate they'd passed the inspection. The customers? LA County Sheriffs. Had the best chile verde ever at that joint.

So sorry you had to deal with malfunctions on the air, but it's a weird feeling to hear someone else going through the same thing I've been living for the past week. As ever, thanks for the music!
