Good day to Dennis. Good day to all! First time, short time here. I finally know what day it is, and what time it is. So here I am. Your show puts a huge smile on my fave Double D. I'm also keeping a close eye out for a character calling himself, Count Mikeula. He's been lurking around these parts. No good can come from him. Please keep a look for him. Have a great day!!

Speaking of "Our Day Will Come," that mellow-mid-tempo-to-fast bossa nova pop is one of my favorite genres. Ricky Nelson's "Fools Rush In" for example.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58pm
myron feld:

I have The Konks version of "King Kong" but never knew Soupy had the original. Black Tooth radiating the 88s, am I right?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm
myron feld:

Canned Heat's "On The Road Again" (which I love) has to be one of the strangest Top 10 records ever, and just underscores the fantastic variety that was AM radio then.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm
Dennis Diken:

Sam - I bought it in '63, it's a super fave here! agreed myron!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm
Matt Clarke:

  3:32pm
Dan:

I happened to see Phil Ochs at his last public performance, at the "End of the War Concert" in Central Park in 1975. He shared the stage with Peter Yaro, Joan Baez and Paul Simon. It was sparsely attended (in spite of reports I've read claiming a big crowd) and held on very short notice.
Avatar 3:33pm
Michael Shelley:

DD: It's this thing guys w/ cigars steal.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm
Dennis Diken:

news we can use Woo! really re Heinz/Mrs M? can it be heard anywhere? Dan - that's cool, was Phil still able to sing at that point?
