Good morning Puzzlers! Probably not REAL safe to comment much in my car, but just gotta say well done on that Pete n Dud. Love that one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm
ironybread:

John Oswald's "Angle" is in the back of my head now of course
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm
ironybread:

Hi Fab! Stay safe!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44pm
chresti:

One of my favorites.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44pm
Franco Twinkie:

Dammit! I missed Grunion Run. I love Franks stuff from the days of Studio Z in Cucamonga. A true mad scientist in his laboratory.
Avatar 1:48pm
Mr Fab:

Ok, parked in a lot now! So I can write: I remember when songs like “pretty little angel eyes“ and “get a job” were all over oldies radio. But those days are long gone, I guess? Now this doo-wop stuff is the domain of public radio obscuritinists. Commercial oldies radio now plays Madonna.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm
ironybread:

Old-Eze! The new radio format that goes down easy, cures headaches instantly, and then inspires new ones. Now available in caplet form
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:51pm
ironybread:

I'll have you know I added no less than eight records to the Discogs database prior to doing this show. I hope you're all suitably impressed
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm
Franco Twinkie:

Was that a life like re-creation, or something Jack White re-released?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm
ironybread:

Jack White re-release. I think those close-miked drums drive him wild
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm
Franco Twinkie:

Start your house on fire if you want to contact the flying saucers for a personal meeting in the smoldering ashes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm
ironybread:

Whatever you do, folks, don’t encrustate the outer space empyrion. That’s a tip
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm
ironybread:

I've got the lyrics to this song but the English translation doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense...wish I got the gag. Although there is one line that translates pretty well, "What's your wife doing in this month's monthly installment?"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:04pm

Hey one for Wired Up!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm
Franco Twinkie:

Irony, I started reading about the incident with the pellet gun. I had to stop.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm
ironybread:

Franco: yes, that's fair
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm
ironybread:

I actually don't share too much personal stuff on my blog. That story was just too long for Twitter
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm
Ike:

Oh wow that Universal Brotherhood Confederation was fun. I meant to comment during the track itself, but I haven't had a cup of tea yet, so I'm very slow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm
Franco Twinkie:

it made me woozy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm

I took a woodwinds class at Valley College, in 87.

Hi Ike! Take your time
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:14pm
ironybread:

I'm not sure who Kilgaron was.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm
Ike:

Another delayed comment arriving late: Wow, I can't believe Bill Clinton was re-elected by *that* much of a margin. Shows you how much of a dud Dole was!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20pm
ironybread:

Very late, Ike! Here's another late comment - "Design for Living" is a good movie!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm
chresti:

Wow, never heard Downers bring me up!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56pm
ironybread:

Yep, I did a lot of restoration work on this one. A WHOLE lot of TLC to clean up this baby.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm
ironybread:

And now because I’m such a professional I’m going to do my last back-announce in the real smooth professional DJ voice that is guaranteed to impress
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm
ironybread:

Cheers all, thanks for listening, stay tuned for Wired Up
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58pm
chresti:

Thanks ironybread!
Avatar 2:58pm
Mr Fab:

That was a fascinating run there of private press outsider novelty oddballs. We need a “Nuggets”-esque set of such singles.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01pm
chresti:

Very professional sounding dj voice, like you went to announcer school!
