Shudder. I didn't recall knowing of Mieko Hirota so spent a few minutes looking her up. Her early cover pics she had oval slightly chubby face. Nice looking but perhaps not fashionable. Then there are lots of photos of her with a pointy chin, slim face, was wondering if it was really the same person or that there were two singers with same name. Then I saw this photo

Just one tiny example is Susheela who apparently is well known to you and NGH but totally new to me (in a genre that I am some what familiar) not to speak of the dozens others in genres I'm not familiar with that have sounded interesting to me.
