Greetings, Mary and left-, right- & middle-wingers.
  12:10pm rw:

Oh, man. My next door neighbor in the dorm played the crap out of that Bow Wow Wow record loud enough he would get complaints from kids on three different floors. Playing his favorite tracks several times in a row.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:10pm spodiodi:

aloha, Sylvia!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm Stanley:

Hi Mary, folks.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Stanley:

Hi Mary. I'm only pledging if we have a 'Nostalgia & Tears' moment. So, here's hoping.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Phillippe Bastille:

@Stanley @Mary I figure as long as the fish and rice are different colors I'm good to go...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm David (in London):

Oh this is too much! My first band used to cover this (Russian Roulette). I still remember how amazingly chuffed I was when I mastered that ringing riff. Ha ha.
Avatar 12:15pm βrian:

"Shelf-life of Sushi"
Now there's a band name.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm spodiodi:

"that sushi needs to rest"
Avatar 12:18pm Mary Wing:

I don't think there's a 'Nostalgia & Tears' moment in this first hour, Stanley, but maybe later on...? But your nostalgia is way different than mine (or anyone else's, heh) so who knows??
Avatar 12:18pm Sem:

Hello, Stanley. Good to see you here, fit and rested.
  12:18pm rw:

Mary, you're on a roll. The '80s were definitely your decade.

Avatar 12:25pm Roberto:

I had no choice. I attended an all-boys' high school.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm spodiodi:

i've eaten at Sir Ant's table
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm brainiac:

Hi, is this the dance party?
Avatar 12:28pm Mary Wing:

I spent a shit-ton of money on records and British music magazines, is what I did dood.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm brainiac:

Of course I missed Bow Wow Wow :(
Avatar 12:29pm Roberto:

I keep thinking there's a lyric about tofu tofu in there. Which happens to be what I'm having for lunch.
Avatar 12:30pm Mary Wing:

Hiya brainiac! Plenty more 80s classics comin' through the wires!
Avatar 12:31pm βrian:

I remember Ms. Zacharewski, I do.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm David (in London):

Mary, good on you I say. I did the same (luckily the postage was probably cheaper...)

Yo brainiacal one!
Avatar 12:32pm Roberto:

The daughter of a Supreme Court justice taught at my high school. I won't say which one. I never had her for a class, but if I had...yeah.
  12:32pm rw:

Was there an Adam Ant / Bow Wow Wow connection? Definitely a similar sound going on there.
Avatar 12:33pm Really Lisa:

Saw the Thompson Twins at The Ritz in NYC. Sneaked in w/my sister's ID.. ahh 1982
Avatar 12:33pm βrian:

@Roberto: SCOTUS?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm Phillippe Bastille:

I for one am appreciating the professional DJ-style segues.
Avatar 12:33pm Roberto:

Yes, that Supreme Court.
Avatar 12:33pm Mary Wing:

There is, rw, but I don't remember what; something to do with Malcolm McLaren, no doubt.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm brainiac:

Hey, David in Parens. I'm ready to enjoy some hi-energy transitions by this hot new DJ with you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm David (in London):

rw - Yeah, as I remember they were former Ants and I think McLaren inveigled them away. As was his wont.
Avatar 12:34pm david w:

Mary! Hello all!
Avatar 12:34pm Mary Wing:

Heard of the phrase, In loco parens?
Avatar 12:35pm Mary Wing:

Howdy, David W.! Keep on raising the musical bar, and raising the bucks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm Webhamster Henry:

This is 100% shamelessly 80s whateverness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm Handy Haversack:

I'm all dressed up, with someplace to go! Hi, Mary, Wingnuts!
Avatar 12:38pm Mary Wing:

Lisa, I think I might have been at the Thompson Twins gig at The Ritz, too! It's all a blur now, heh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm David (in London):

Mary, re the above, which magazines did you buy?
Avatar 12:39pm Mary Wing:

Hello Henry and Handy! Shameless is my aim, dancing is my game!
Avatar 12:39pm Sylvia (France-NYC):

one of my fav Madonna songs!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm brainiac:

I'm gonna guess Mary Liked Spin more than Rolling Stone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm Webhamster Henry:

WFMU - your Oldies Station!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Ike:

Another FMU DJ dragged this one out a few months ago, I think. Or was it you? It was the first time I'd heard this in years or maybe decades. I loved Young MC briefly when I was a kid.
Avatar 12:41pm Roberto:

Must a Bove!
Avatar 12:41pm Mary Wing:

Oh jeez, David In London, usually whatever I could get my hands on: NME, Melody Maker, Smash Hits, The Face, Flexipop, are just off the top of my head.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Andrew_in_WI:

It's funny, station manager Ken will inevitably play Wing on his show and it's like a reminder that I need to turn on 100% Whatever
Avatar 12:41pm Hubig Pie:

Today's theme:
80's dance party?
Avatar 12:42pm Really Lisa:

Mary, if you can't remember could mean you had a better time :)
Avatar 12:43pm Mary Wing:

Hi there Ike, Andrew, and Hubig! All 80s for three hours!
Avatar 12:43pm Roberto:

Wing and Mary Wing are my two favorite Wings!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm David (in London):

Mary, great reads all. Ah, Smash Hits, what fun. I still have a few old Melody Makers, NMEs and Sounds kicking around in the loft I think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm doctorjazz:

Hey, got ants in my pants...
Avatar 12:46pm Sem:

Ohhh, Steve!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm brainiac:

I liked CMJ. I think I still have some of those comp CDs that came with them.
Avatar 12:47pm Mary Wing:

I left all those magazines at my dad's apartment after I moved out, planning to get them at some point, but eventually he threw them out, argh! Along with my small collection of vintage bowling shirts!! Oh the agony!!
Avatar 12:49pm Roberto:

Oof bad flashback of Patti and Michael Stipe and a bunch of other rockers singing this at some benefit for Kerry in 2004.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm Ike:

I don't think I was reading music magazines any earlier than 1989 or 1990. I liked Option but that was hard to find. And I think there was one called B-Side, wasn't there? I usually preferred those to the British ones which were sometimes baffling to me, esp. the one that put a lot of classic rock artists on its cover. I was like UGH WHAT ARE YOU DOING.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

Good morning-ish, Mary... and Whatever-ers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51pm brainiac:

People Have The Power is one of those tunes that still has the power to make me shed a tear in public.

Let me remind you all that people DO have the power to keep freeform radio going strong--please make a pledge during our October fundraiser!!
Avatar 12:52pm Mary Wing:

Oooh, is this our first Nostalgia & Tears moment, brainiac?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

I just read the Flexi-pop mention. I still have some of those flexi-discs!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53pm brainiac:

Yup *blushing*
Avatar 12:53pm Mary Wing:

Me too, Hopey! Maybe I can find them for next year's Singles Going Steady!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Mary, that would be *amazing*.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm doctorjazz:

Love this Cars!
Avatar 12:55pm Mary Wing:

Flexidiscs sound so crappy, though--but when has that stopped me before?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm David (in London):

Mary, I think I still have some Bauhaus and Soft Cell flexis from Flexipop, too.
  12:56pm rw:

Flexidiscs! I was thinking the same thing when Mary mentioned Flexi-pop. Mary, you've got a year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm Handy Haversack:

I went silent -- sorry. I was making a salad, and a hard-boiled egg tried to fly away, which caused all kinds of temporal confusion around these parts, but hoo! The tunes were cooking!
Avatar 12:57pm Mary Wing:

Hi doctorjazz! The 80s were definitely The Cars' decade!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm Handy Haversack:

Second time Aerosmith's "DLLaL" has been played on WFMU.
  12:58pm rw:

Okay, I need to get my crap together and get out of here. Will be listening off and on. Happy Wednesday everyone! Keep on dancing!

@Handy: that reminds me of that crossword clue, a 3-letter word for flightless bird, beginning with "E."

(Egg, of course.)
Avatar 1:21pm Mary Wing:

Not Emu?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:22pm Ken From Hyde Park:

These are the tracks that didn't make it to the Friday dance party this summer?

  1:23pm Symmetry In Mayhem:

Homosapien is a very underrated album
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Really loved the Homosapien album. I revisited it extensively after the news Pete had died (RIP).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23pm Handy Haversack:

I never considered them flight risks until today, βrian!
Avatar 1:24pm Mary Wing:

Some of them are, Ken, but then I started down a rabbit hole of other 80s music. Over 35 songs didn't make it on this show, heh!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm David (in London):

I'm now wearing lots of thick multi-coloured plastic bangles.
Avatar 1:27pm Mary Wing:

Hi Symmetry In Mayhem, I agree! Is it because it wasn't post-punk and too synthy or something?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27pm Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

Don't know this Altered Images track but her voice is instantly recognizable!
Avatar 1:28pm Mary Wing:

Hi S&M&S! I think I forgot to greet you earlier; I was eating, heh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

"I Could Be Happy" and "Birthday" are the ones we remember. The chorus of the former, "get away, far away... how do I escape from you" - great stuff. x
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

Ha! Yes, lunch time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm David (in London):

I moved to Manchester in 1988 to go to University. Man, this was but everywhere.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm Handy Haversack:

Well, money spent at the charity shops goes for good causes, David.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm doctorjazz:

Da Da Ds, another fav!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34pm brainiac:

It's only a matter of time before 99 Luftballons are flying again.
Avatar 1:34pm Really Lisa:

Can Freur's Doot Doot be near? The Doo's the Da's, maybe?
Avatar 1:34pm Sem:

Still prefer the version w/ Bryce doing the dadadas.
Avatar 1:35pm Mary Wing:

Sadly, no Luftbaloons or Doot Doots today; they will have to sit in the queue for Shameless 80s Overindulgence Part 3
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37pm brainiac:

That's something to look forward to :D
  1:38pm Symmetry In Mayhem:

Was not sure what was going through their heads when they wrote this. BOOM BOOM was a great song as well. However if you played both songs side by side, you would have a hard it was the same band
Avatar 1:38pm Really Lisa:

What brainiac posted ^ !
  1:38pm David in London:

Brainiac, relax, you don’t have to hurry hurry super scurry.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39pm brainiac:

David Says Relax
  1:40pm ike_p:

greetings everyone - great mix of music, love it!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm Ike:

I almost never meet other Ikes. Hi Ike. I'm in southern Brooklyn; you?
  1:43pm ike_p:

hi ike! baltimore, originally south jersey and all over in between :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43pm Handy Haversack:

I am now wearing my DAVID SAYS RELAX T-shirt.
Avatar 1:43pm Mary Wing:

Hello ike_p, welcome! My show isn't normally full of old music, heh, but today is special!
  1:45pm David in London:

Handy, here’s hoping my first three singles go straight to number one!

Hello new Ike. (And exisiting Ike, too).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46pm Ike:

Cool, I'm originally from (rural) Maryland myself and also I love Baltimore!
  1:46pm ike_p:

hi mary, thanks! i found the station in august, and i thought i knew music :) it's taken me awhile to immerse, but i consider it a training montage...i can't listen to everyone yet, but eventually i will :)
Avatar 1:48pm Mary Wing:

Wow, ike_p, you found WFMU in August?!? How did you find us, on the internet?
  1:48pm ike_p:

ike, yeah i have to admit outside my family i've not encountered the name often - do you have a weird sense of humor?
Avatar 1:49pm βrian:

This was one of my prep songs when I was gearing up to wait a double shift.
  1:49pm ike_p:

mary, yeah good old google - i found a baltimore dj i love from the 90's doing a free form show here on college radio and i started seeing what else there was free form, and fmu showd up in pretty big letters :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52pm brainiac:

Hey, ike_p. Welcome to the slippery slope. Always room for one more...
  1:52pm ike_p:

hi brainiac, thanks! it's truly great to be here
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm brainiac:

Who laid out these white lines on the table?
Avatar 1:53pm Hubig Pie:

White Lines blow away
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54pm Handy Haversack:

Rubbing this show on my gums!

Hey, ike_p! Welcome! A sip quickly becomes a firehose, and that's just fine!
Avatar 1:55pm Hubig Pie:

Take them Sugarhill peoples to copyright court
  1:55pm ike_p:

handy thanks yeah, just the random player can keep me amused to no end
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Webhamster Henry:

Hi ike_p! WFMU runs the four streams of the apocalypse. There are also nearly 20 years of archives, and a few non-streamed podcasts.
  1:56pm David in London:

Brainiac, I left some sherbet on the table. You didn’t think it was...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:57pm Stanley:

Shit, I missed Gang of Four.
I've made a couscous salad, anyway.
  1:57pm ike_p:

webmaster henry, as a retired it geek i admire your work - great job to you and your presumed team :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59pm Webhamster Henry:

I'm just a hamster now - I put together a lot of features of the online WFMU and WFMU app years ago, now there's very little of my work around. Praise Kenzo though!
  2:00pm ike_p:

haven't met them yet, but praise kenzo indeed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00pm brainiac:

I dunno how to break this to you, but you missed Clare Grogan too. You'd better break out the sprouts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00pm Stanley:

David - I wish I still had my pirate trousers.

Howdy...Guess who's here for 3oaK?
Avatar 2:01pm Mary Wing:

Hi Kevin! No 3oak, this week, sad-face.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01pm Stanley:

It's ol' Weasel, himself.
Avatar 2:01pm Hubig Pie:

My cassette deck no worky
  2:03pm David in London:

Bring forth the schmaltz!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm KevinfromBayRidge:

"I Will Survive"! I know it's from 1978.
Avatar 2:03pm Hubig Pie:

Yacht rock
  2:03pm ike_p:

mary, fwiw what drew me to your show's attention was finding the playlist where you ran with 8ish versions of cities in dust
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm Webhamster Henry:

Hey Bard College...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:04pm Handy Haversack:

I have an emergency back-up cassette deck with my emergency back-up VCR at the office, which I am not allowed to go to. Something's gotta give!

David, take it from hard-earned experience: schmaltz and vodka is a *bad* combo.
  2:04pm ike_p:

that must've been awesome to put together as well as listen along with
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:04pm KevinfromBayRidge:

@ Hubig. But the best of a meh genre!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:05pm Ken From Hyde Park:

My niece turns nineteen this Sunday.
  2:05pm spaceman one:

I saw Walter Becker at the WFMU Record Fair one year. He had a big old stack of vinyl under his arm.
  2:06pm David in London:

I am now wearing a sour expression.
(It’s Donald Fagin after all).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm brainiac:

Well-recorded yacht rock is OK with me. More drug references, please.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

The Cuervo Gold, The fine Columbian . . .
Avatar 2:06pm Mary Wing:

Ah-ha! So all those archive plays are from YOU, ike_p?? :-) I can see how many times an archive has been clicked on, and that show has a lot more than usual.
Avatar 2:06pm Hubig Pie:

Sure beats Barge Rock
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:07pm Webhamster Henry:

Speaking of cassettes, that reminds me to plug Bedroom Cassette Masters like I usually do. bedroomcassettemasters.bandcamp.com
  2:07pm ike_p:

oh yeah - i'm probably driving everyone nuts then becuase i scanned every active show's playlist archives to find music i can quickly associate with. even with trying to find one song or artist i recognized there's a lot of shows left behind at the moment...
Avatar 2:08pm Mary Wing:

Hi there spaceman one!

There's one more cringey song in this set, I won't spoil it for you but y'all will cringe for sure.
  2:09pm ike_p:

one thing i'll say, sun ra is QUITE popular on this station
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm Stanley:

ike-p haha
Avatar 2:10pm Mary Wing:

Sun Ra rules my universe, yep. The playlist search function is also your new friend, if you haven't already met it:
wfmu.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm brainiac:

Here's a tip, ike_p. Whenever Sun Ra is mentioned, we all reverentially bow our heads.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm Handy Haversack:

Sun Ra, Alice Coltrane, Svantana ...
  2:11pm ike_p:

oh yeah - i've done the playlist search fruitlessly searching for artists i know that haven't played here and the closest i've come outside edm was a typo
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm Handy Haversack:

So this is the way it is, Mary?

David, change clothes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm brainiac:

get a job
Avatar 2:12pm Mary Wing:

Heh, change into what, though?
  2:12pm David in London:

Oh good one Mary.
I am now wearing espadrilles and a Salmon pink shirt.
  2:13pm ike_p:

*bows head* yeah - i embarked on a jazz jaunt about four years ago and i can't get past that whatever happened in the 60s
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Handy Haversack:

Greendale's the place to be ...
Avatar 2:13pm Mary Wing:

He rhymes "buy a job" with "get a job" sheesh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15pm Stanley:

Glass of Chianti, David?
Avatar 2:16pm Hubig Pie:

Yeah, but those descending arpeggios
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:16pm Andrew_in_WI:

Y'all remember back in '82 when Hornsby played un the dead?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm Stanley:

Smooth
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm brainiac:

Like it was yesterday, Andrew. Like it was yesterday.
  2:17pm ike_p:

oh ub40, my first non-metal concert :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:19pm Andrew_in_WI:

@brainiac Haha, I was actually born in '82, but I did see Hornsby with the Other Ones in 2002
  2:20pm David in London:

Stanley, don’t mind if I do, thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:21pm brainiac:

Yeah, I wasn't going to correct you, but it was several years later, I think. Anyway, check out how much Hornsby looks like Jimmy Page now: scontent-fml2-1.xx.fbcdn.net...
  2:21pm David in London:

I am now wearing white socks, slip-on loafers and have a jumper draped over my shoulders.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23pm Stanley:

This was the quintessence of the eighties back then in London. Want to go up West tonight, David?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:24pm Stanley:

You're already dressed for it.
Avatar 2:26pm Sem:

Speaking of natty dressers, thank you for my Bryan Ferry fix, Mary.
Avatar 2:27pm Hubig Pie:

Oh this be courtin' music for me and the wifey
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm Andrew_in_WI:

Can we get a 3OAK of this song? Bill Murray's version is pretty great
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm Handy Haversack:

The show will end and David's house will be this shambolic Fashion Week---esque scene of devastation, sticky with spilled cocaine and champagne, the last celebratory streamers drooping to fall across the faces of passed-out boldface names ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm brainiac:

It wasn't until Bill Murray sang this in Lost In Translation that I appreciated the deep lyrical content in More Than This.
Avatar 2:29pm Mary Wing:

Andrew, "More Than This" already got the 3oak treatment, sans Bill Murray: wfmu.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm brainiac:

Oops, I spilled my campaign on the cocaine again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm Handy Haversack:

Bush Tetras spoiler alert!

This Cure album is so great.
  2:31pm David in London:

Handy, have you peaked on the webcam?

I now have enormous back-combed hair and lots of eyeliner on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:31pm coelacanth∅:

hi Mary and 100%ers

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm 83%er∅:

no 3ok today?
Avatar 2:33pm Sem:

David, you are ready for prime time.
Avatar 2:33pm Hubig Pie:

I loved that Fire in Cairo 3OAK
Avatar 2:34pm Mary Wing:

No 3oak this week or next week, sorry!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:34pm Handy Haversack:

There will be sax.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:34pm brainiac:

I'm not brunk, I'm just duzzed. Who hid my keys, dammit?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:34pm Stanley:

The Furs. Now ya talkin'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm Handy Haversack:

Hubig, yeah, me too -- so good.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

The addition of Todd Rundgren on vibes really makes this song.
  2:35pm David in London:

Ah Mary, I suspected you might go Pretty in Pink, but you’ve got Forever Now. Superb.

I am now wearing a flowery shirt and smoking too much.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:36pm coelacanth∅:

(marimba)
Avatar 2:37pm Mary Wing:

I hope ike_p is still around for the next track...
  2:37pm ike_p:

where would i go? :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37pm Stanley:

David - I can picture you, round the flat, with one of those enormous ash trays you get in the pub.
  2:38pm ike_p:

nice - i'm smoking a clove no less
Avatar 2:39pm Mary Wing:

David combed his hair down too quickly, now he has to tease it up again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm Handy Haversack:

It's a rollercoaster -- but worth it for Siouxsie!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm Stanley:

I meant what you you used to get in the pub.
  2:40pm David in London:

Damn it Mary, I won’t even get my high lace-ups boots and leather skirt done up by the time this finishes.
Avatar 2:41pm Mary Wing:

It's the 12" version, you got time and I think it will work for the next song as well, heh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:42pm Andrew_in_WI:

I still have a thing for goth girls thanks to Siouxsie
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43pm brainiac:

lets get to rammin'
Avatar 2:44pm Mary Wing:

She set an impossibly high standard for goth girls, yep.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44pm Handy Haversack:

Strut, David!
  2:44pm David in London:

I’m now doing the splits before I take the guitar solo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:46pm brainiac:

Mary, you got crucial.
Avatar 2:48pm Mary Wing:

I hate this part of the show because I have to make tough decisions on which songs to cram in and which will be sadly left out. So these segues won't be as good as earlier ones, heh.
  2:49pm VespaJack:

Great Show. This is all the music that was my soundtrack when I first moved to NYC.
Yr da bomb, Mary
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49pm Michael 98145:

Voodoo!
Avatar 2:50pm Mary Wing:

Thanks, VespaJack! It was my soundtrack as well, and I already lived here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Anudda great 'un, Mary!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm Webhamster Henry:

Mexican Radio was a nice restaurant in Hudson that shut down when ICE was ramping up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Henry, Radio Mexico, by the Bklyn Bridge?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52pm Handy Haversack:

My god, this album was thirty-five years ago!?
  2:52pm David in London:

Phew, I can get out of all that Siouxsie gear now. I’m now wearing a pork pie hat and Wayfarer shades. And drinking a lot of whiskey.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52pm Stanley:

I hope the punk documentary soon to be shown on Cinema WFMU is available outside the US. I so want to see it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52pm Handy Haversack:

Get all liquored up on that roadhouse corn, David!
Avatar 2:53pm Sem:

Nice, love Tom in the afternoon. Multiple dings!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:54pm Handy Haversack:

Hell YEAH!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks and whatever, Mary. Have a nice week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm Ike:
