You are all invited to underneath a bridge in Finland where Tivvy and I are making it official

Hey, String of Perils!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm Ooooo'tis:

I call flower girl (at age 51).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm ARB:

yes! (only black and white flowers please)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm Rich in Washington:

I just recently learned that Sidd and Marty Krofft successfully sued McDonalds, claiming Mayor McCheese infringed on Puffinstuff's copyrighted image.
Avatar 3:08pm solo mon:

The wedding event of the pandemic !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm Ooooo'tis:

Of course and I hang my dead flowers from the celing at least, 2 years in advance. I got'cha!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm Rich in Washington:

Does that mean Puffinstuff's head is actually a hamburger?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm Ooooo'tis:

Hell yea he did. Puff would kick the mayor's ass in a heartbeat too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm Rich in Washington:

I'm so old I remember when Grimace had four hands.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm Ooooo'tis:

I don't want to know what he does with those hands off-shift.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm Tivvy's Spouse:

I love the dark circles under HR Pufnstufs hamburger eyes
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm Ooooo'tis:

Puff had one too many puffs in lidsville with the seamonsters before coming back up to the surface. Rule in life, never trust a Sleestack, bad news kiddos.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:14pm Rich in Washington:

The Kroffts destroyed McDonaldland. After the lawsuit , there were no more McDonaldland commercials and many of its characters went off to advertising mascot Valhalla.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Ooooo'tis:

Except creepy statues of Ronald on benches in the front. Which always made for good times taking provocative shots with.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm Ooooo'tis:

Best to just be a bugaloo. There's so much more that you can do. To make the world, a better place to beeeee.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm Rich in Washington:

Ronald cannot be killed. Not by the hands of mortals. Not even by fire.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm Rich in Washington:

I wanna see a dark Ronald McDonald reboot, ala The Joker.
Avatar 3:18pm StringOFperils:

Only when the last cow on Earth is dead will Ronald McDonald get to be a real boy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm Ooooo'tis:

I just wish all those crappy McDonalds records with songs were pressed at 45rpm so we could easily play them at 33 on our shows.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm Ooooo'tis:

Speaking of cows, was anyone else ever a member of The Holy Church of Moo?
  3:20pm Martinibomb:

Never heard of that one!???
Avatar 3:21pm StringOFperils:

How do I get ordained?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm Jan Turkenburg:

Hi (again) everyone. Just lurking and (easy) listening before sleep here :-)
  3:23pm Martinibomb:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm Ooooo'tis:

Night Jan!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm Ooooo'tis:

Holy Church of Moo was in the Stark Fist of Removal as I recall... or could have also been in Rev Groovy G's 23 Watch or The Hungry Maggot Zine. Most def Factsheet Five in the early 90s. I may still have my certificate, they had an official church cassette too of moos.
  3:38pm Martinibomb:

I remember the Stark Fist of Removal I think I still have some
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

how did i miss the Church of Moo? I make it a point to become ordained in every sketchy church i can find!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

i guess i AM ordained in The Church of the Subgenius, so maybe that rolls over into Moo?
  3:47pm Martinibomb:

this is a long playlist and it's not even an hour yet!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm Ooooo'tis:

Granny me too. Subgenius Minister, ULC Ordained, Church of Euthanasia, Institute of Soiometry, Neoism, Discordian Pope, Partridge Family Temple, Virgin for Life. A lot of those also came from the SubG High Weirdness by Mail book.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm Ooooo'tis:

Martinibomb, do you remember your Rev name? At age 14, you may be one of the youngest members and Stang would have your name in the books.
  3:52pm Martinibomb:

@Otis I found it! I was more like 17.. but it's really long I don't have it memorized - I'll grab it later and post it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:53pm Ooooo'tis:

Cool MB! I am noted under Rev. Otis F. Odder. Fun is my middle name. Doktor of Bob.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:53pm Ooooo'tis:

Funny religions, look at all these!!!! books.google.ca...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm Ooooo'tis:

So many I have never heard of. I want to go back 25 years with my Compuserve account and sign up for them all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

Church of the Quivering Otter?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm Ooooo'tis:

Haaaa, I know. Oh, I want to join that one!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:56pm Ooooo'tis:

Devote a wall to dozens of framed certificates.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:56pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

I'm ordained in the ULC, Starflower Pagan Collective, and Church of Elvis! Plus i'm an unlicensed 'pataphysician!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

YES! I have a wall of framed certificates! This Subgenius ones aren't though, i need bigger frames
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm Ooooo'tis:

For years past on social media and elsewhere, I have listed both religion and gave way to my doctorate in the Pataphysical sciences.
Avatar 3:58pm worldsworstrecords:

I am officially the Reverend Darryl W Bullock, licensed to conduct weddings and facilitate at funerals in something like 48 states....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm Ooooo'tis:

I want a Church of Elvis membership pack, thank ya very much.
  4:00pm Martinibomb:

Elvis from the Church of Elvis lives in my neighborhood I talk to him allll the time. Just saw him the other day. He's doing good staying away from covid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm Ooooo'tis:

I need to frame my old certs, they have not been on a wall for almost 25 years. I recently re-upped my subg membership after 30+ years and got a new pack in a fancy blue file folder. I think Rich did the same too recently from what I recall.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:02pm Ooooo'tis:

I visited the Church of Elvis in Portland in 1999, would that count? Knocked on the door and a woman answered in the evening and gave us a personal tour. One room was filled with trash and there was a cake that looked like it was 10 years old. So dirty. I still have my t-shirt.
Avatar 4:03pm MrCrispy:

What's up mediumcoolers!
  4:03pm Martinibomb:

yoooooooo Mistah Crispy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03pm Ooooo'tis:

I'll wear my Elvis T-Shirt on Zoom.
  4:04pm Martinibomb:

@Crispy just got done covering for Dj Georgy Girl... now going into my show for the next 3hrs heh
Avatar 4:05pm MrCrispy:

I had to set an alarm, not so much to remind me what time it is but what day. Days have no meaning, it's all just work.
  4:06pm Martinibomb:

That's the thing I hate about work hehe
Avatar 4:06pm MrCrispy:

Yeah, thought that was a long playlist for 6 minutes!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:06pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

Martinibomb: You've seen Elvis? Wow, he's still hanging in there? Ooooo'tis: last time i saw Stevie, she wasn't doing very well. My friend, Chloe (Eudaly) was keeping tabs on her, but it sounds like she's really been struggling.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

The Church of Elvis was one of the most influential creations of my life. I was even on Stevie's public access TV show once! Where's The ART?!?!??!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm Ooooo'tis:

Maybe Stevie is who we met. She was really nice and I paid for a T-Shirt and we stayed for like an hour, but no Elvis.
  4:08pm Martinibomb:

I really hope Stevie is doing better! Totally agree about Church o elvis being influential... no Voodoo doughnuts etc...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08pm Ooooo'tis:

I was visiting from Seattle at the time, my first visit to Portland in 1999 after moving to Seattle in 1998.
  4:08pm Martinibomb:

I used to drop off copies for her from kinkos so.. knew her pretty well
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

Ooooo'tis: Stephanie G. Pierce AKA Stevie IS the Church of Elvis.

Martinibomb: does Elvis still carry a cardboard guitar?
  4:09pm Martinibomb:

@gran nah I mean he's just living his life/survivin - I just see him when I'm on walks and he knows me well enough...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:11pm Ooooo'tis:

Oh cool, that's who we met. I remember she was really nice and we arrived in Portland in the early evening. She was closed and she let us in on her own time as we were visiting and had to leave the next morning. That was cool.
  4:16pm Martinibomb:

Mighty Porno = My pal Lorenzo from NZ who was on the show some time ago -- keep wanting to get him back on but he doesn't have internet/phone right now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm Ooooo'tis:

Have you in the backdrop MB while I move some furniture about and start dinner east coast time-style. See you all in a chatroom soon! Granny, the wall of certificates is inspiring me now, just have to figure out which wall to move stuff off... as I bet you know too... so litle space left on our walls.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm Mx. Granny (e/em):

the wall space dilemma is always an issue, especially living with a shameless book hoarder!
  4:23pm Martinibomb:

That's kind of a good kind of hoarder
Avatar 4:24pm solo mon:

Oh my the church of Elvis was a big influence on me as well. I remember when she had the “art wash” museum way back when!
Avatar 4:25pm StringOFperils:

'Art Wash'. Don't know what it means, but I like the sound of it.
  4:25pm Martinibomb:

Art Wash??
Avatar 4:26pm StringOFperils:

Hah!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29pm Ooooo'tis:

We can't wait to visit you Granny in SF (and see my Dad in Oakland) one day in time... and take a trip up the coast to see Solo and Eric and Rich in PDX. It's in the stars, one day, glass half-full hopeful wishing. Until that time. Meow. Meow meow. Okay, off to move a bed on it's side and sweep under, round up those dust bunnies!
  4:30pm Martinibomb:

Beach party!
Avatar 4:31pm solo mon:

Art Wash -it was like a car wash but she would make you sit in a wheelchair and then push you through a tunnel with curtains of weird shit like baby doll parts that brush past you.
Avatar 4:33pm StringOFperils:

Did that include how wax?
Avatar 4:33pm solo mon:

Oh I forgot there was a tape recorder taped to the wheelchair with a soundtrack/ tour guide (stevies voice) so fun and dumb and very interesting nspiring to young teen me.
Avatar 4:33pm StringOFperils:

Hot....jeez already ...
Avatar 4:33pm solo mon:

Hot but no wax lol
Avatar 4:34pm StringOFperils:

Avatar 5:06pm solo mon:

My whole show is about food tomorrow hahah
Avatar 5:06pm MrCrispy:

I made a grilled cheese sammich on the bbq grill the other day cuz it was too hot to cook inside. It was deeelicious
  5:07pm Martinibomb:

Ohhhhh man! @Solo can't wait! @Crispy I made an "american" cheese grilled cheese today.

Avatar 5:10pm MrCrispy:

@solo if I can make a suggestion for your show tomorrow, Charles Wright's Gimme That Sammich is one of my favorite new (to me) jamz
Avatar 5:11pm solo mon:

Oh! Ok! I will I will ! MB reminded me I wanted to play goodbye saccharine by Gilda Radner as well .
  5:12pm Ooooo'tis:

  5:14pm Ooooo'tis:

All food, well I know what Ice Cream truck I'm running after tomorrow afternoon.
Avatar 5:14pm MrCrispy:

@Otis It's so great! I always liked him with the Watts Band but that album is beautiful on it's own
  5:14pm Ooooo'tis:

... and we heard NWA doing Express today too!
Avatar 5:15pm solo mon:

I also sold a portion of my air time for an Dietary aid infomercial - I hope Fab isn’t angry.
  5:16pm Ooooo'tis:

I just dove into Charles' solo albums a couple of years ago. Still very fresh here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:17pm Ooooo'tis:

Just realized I was not logged in when it kept asking me math problems. I was like, yea, I know I hated math in high school but c'mon is this some cosmic karma or what.. but nah, I logged out in another window, doh.
  5:18pm Martinibomb:

@otis @solo I really want chrispy to come on board and DJ at some point in the future... :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18pm Ooooo'tis:

Throw mention mr fabu's way.
  5:20pm Martinibomb:

Chrispy's got too much other stuff right now.. but def wanna suggest him to fab in the future.
Avatar 5:23pm MrCrispy:

That would be amazing, definitely wouldn't be able to give it the attention it deserves right now but it would be great to be in this company!
Avatar 5:28pm MrCrispy:

@otis that Wright double lp Doing What Comes Naturally has been on my list to look out for now
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:29pm Ooooo'tis:

I do understand that one. Time and devotion to projects. I'm always of the frame of mind for like-minded cats, more the merrier.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:30pm Ooooo'tis:

Yes! That was my first Charles find, on a trip to NYC in Feb of 2018, my pal said get it and knowing only the band stuff before, that one knocked the kickstand off and I've been accelerating ever since.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm Ooooo'tis:

I like my funky with some meat on the bones. Charles does that, even with the more mellow cuts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:32pm Ooooo'tis:

Saw you played Wu Tang earlier---there's a radio friendly version of Chessboxin' that replaces all the bad words with sound fx from martial arts movie like blades coming out of their sheath, etc----I kinda want to do a whole radio friendly edit of their debut like that!
