Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13am Jeffrey Davison:

Good morning TDK60!
Built a studio on the far side of the moon this week. Sounding okay so far...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14am Jeffrey Davison:

Glad to hear it, Heidee!
Avatar 6:16am Fredericks:

Did you use a ladder to get to the far side, Jeffrey?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18am Jeffrey Davison:

@Fredericks, no...a series of cheese sandwiches, and a tunnel was created.
  6:18am Aye-Aye:

Good morning! It's 11.18am here in Glasgow and we have you on in the shop.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:19am Jeffrey Davison:

@Fredericks, of course I took my car there first.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20am Jeffrey Davison:

Aye-Aye, good morning! Hope I don't drive the customers away.
Avatar 6:20am Heidee:

Hallwrerr Aye-Aye in Glesca! Whats yer shop?
  6:23am Aye-Aye:

We've just reopened after 5 months, so no sign of customers yet anyway! We're Aye-Aye Books in the CCA on Sauchiehall St. (am I allowed to say that?)
Avatar 6:26am TDK60:

I figure I'd rather be in Scotland, than here.
Avatar 6:26am Heidee:

Aye-Aye, great. I miss Sausage Roll Street.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:29am Jeffrey Davison:

@Aye-Aye: sure, no problem. Good luck!
  6:32am good morning:

Avatar 6:50am Fredericks:

Swag For Life Member 6:51am Roadside Picnic:

I need a new type writer
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51am Jeffrey Davison:

Roadside Picnic, glad to have you back aboard.
Glad to be of service, Aye-Aye.
Fredericks: I take darkness wherever I go. It's a bit lighter now, with the hole to the other side, though.
Avatar 6:51am Fredericks:

Good the hear!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53am Nulsh:

Loving this Akiyama Jeffrey.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53am Jeffrey Davison:

Roadside Picnic, and any fans of typewriters, here's an old obit from the Times that's interesting: www.nytimes.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54am Nulsh:

Totes hear the nose breathing!
  6:54am Anon:

Good morning. Good deal. Thanks bunches y'all
Avatar 6:55am Heidee:

Hey Nulsh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56am Nulsh:

TDK60! How are ya' amigo?
  6:57am Andrew in Toronto:

Good morning Jeffrey and all other Planeteers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57am Jeffrey Davison:

Good morning Andrew in Toronto!
Avatar 6:58am TDK60:

Nulsh, Trying to chase away sleep with caffeine. Been a tad rattling in this country of late. How are you?
  6:58am Anon:

Bump on the head kids is the new name of my first art portfolio of exhibition. Thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59am Jeffrey Davison:

Anon: ha! You're welcome.
  7:03am Aye-Aye:

@TDK60 I usually listen on the archive player, not in the shop - we're based withn an arts centre and we're right by the cafe/bar, and normally the music they have on dominates the space. Lockdown rules mean no music allowed in bars, but retail spaces are fine...
  7:03am Curious Tom:

Morning Nulsh & all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05am Nulsh:

TDK60. Aye, never a dull moment! I check the news regularly.
I am grand thanks for askin'. Mustn't grumble etc. Heh heh!
  7:05am Cooh John:

Good morning Jeffrey and planeteers. I remember Apollo 11. We could use something like that event to unite the planet at this time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06am Nulsh:

Curious Tom! Howdy!
We may have hit the Weejie limit for the day!
  7:07am Curious Tom:

Is it 1 in - 1 out rules?
Swag For Life Member 7:08am Roadside Picnic:

Jeffrey-nice article in NY times- Psychoanalysis for type writers-a better world for sure .
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09am Jeffrey Davison:

Aye-Aye, an interesting twist.
Cooh John, good morning! And you're right, though we are in a climate crisis, and that alone should be enough.
Curious Tom, good morning! Is that question directed at me, re: the CDs?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09am Jeffrey Davison:

Roadside Picnic, yer welcome.
Avatar 7:11am Fredericks:

Hi, Cooh.
Swag For Life Member 7:15am Ted in Montclair:

Good morning Jeffrey and Planeteers. “And I’ll see you...in September.” Oh. It IS September.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18am Jeffrey Davison:

Good morning Ted in Montclair, and once again, September has arrived when our attention was elsewhere.
  7:20am Cooh John:

Good morning Fredericks. So nice to see you and the gang on the board. This Saturday ritual is calming to my soul.
Avatar 7:22am Fredericks:

Mister Davison takes good care of us.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24am Jeffrey Davison:

Ah, thanks Cooh John and Fredericks...
Avatar 7:24am Sylvia (France-NYC):

Hello Ruth Booth, Jeffrey, and listeners!

This piece by "Your Schizophrenia" was great, so I went to look for it, and turns our it's a project by Natalia Drepina, whose art we used on one of our albums! Serendipity...
Swag For Life Member 7:26am Ted in Montclair:

Jeffrey, the only thing I can think of re Apollo 11 is that maybe there was a danger of the heat shield detaching upon re-entry, which would have spelled doom. I hadn’t heard that. I live in Montclair, where Buzz Aldrin was born and grew up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26am Jeffrey Davison:

Good morning, Sylvia! That's a nice coincidence...
  7:28am Buddha of Suburbia:

Good morning, Jeffrey and gang!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28am Jeffrey Davison:

Ted, here's the article about that...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30am Jeffrey Davison:

Good morning Buddha of Suburbia!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33am Nulsh:

Swag For Life Member 7:33am 12539:

Jeffrey, I hope your tower of cheese sandwiches is better engineered than that Apollo re-entry.
  7:35am Buddha of Suburbia:

Hi Nuuuuuuuullllsssh!! Where ya been? Hi ya Jeffrey!!! Hello everyone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35am Jeffrey Davison:

12539, no worries. My sandwiches are formed into a tetrahedral structure.
  7:37am wild neo peace all:

Jefferson- Buckminster Fuller would be proud of your strong sandwich structures!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37am Jeffrey Davison:

wild neo peace all: I was thinking of Bucky as I built it!
Avatar 7:38am Heidee:

Hi Buddha, are you well?
  7:38am wild neil:

Jeffrey I mean...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40am Jeffrey Davison:

A bit of history: Doctor Turtle is Simon Ounsworth, and some years ago he told me about a young guitarist living in Brighton named Gwenifer Raymond, whose music I then checked out. There was a bit on Bandcamp, and some videos on YT of her busking. Needless to say, I was gobsmacked. I contacted Josh Rosenthal of Tompkins Square, and he signed her immediately. She's got a new one coming out! Single was released yesterday on Bandcamp Friday.
  7:42am mark at Koncepts:

Dropping in and out this morning. All Bandcamp show today?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42am Jeffrey Davison:

wild neil: no problem. Daniel Blumin calls me Jefferson, and I had a dear friend, now departed, that called me that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42am Nulsh:

Jeffrey, you got Gwenifer signed to Tompkins Square?
That's really cool!
Really like that new single.
  7:42am Buddha of Suburbia:

Hi ya Heidee! I am well thanks. Things are going ok. How are you doing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43am Jeffrey Davison:

mark: almost, except one or two tracks.
Avatar 7:44am Heidee:

@Buddha, glad to hear that. I am pretty supi again and grateful.
  7:45am Diezel Tea:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45am Jeffrey Davison:

Nulsh: I guess you could say that Simon and I helped...I also helped in the signing of Don Bikoff, who had contacted me years and years ago, by email, after I played something from Celestial Explosion on my show, a record, I am happy to say, I got in a dollar bin.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46am Jeffrey Davison:

Diezel Tea: I'm trying! I'm trying!
  7:47am Diezel Tea:

Check out Lucy Khanyan...
Avatar 7:47am TDK60:

DT! Long time; still in Yerevan?
Avatar 7:49am TDK60:

Golly, gee. Basho reminds me, I have to practice my guitar more. Not that I'll ever pick like that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51am Jeffrey Davison:

Diezel Tea: is Lucy a musician? Took a quick look, didn't find.
TDK60: not to many people in Basho's league.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52am Jeffrey Davison:

Diezel Tea: found on YT. Thank you.
Swag For Life Member 7:53am Ted in Montclair:

Jeffrey, just read the article. Fascinating...and scary. Another example of the fact that historical events were not pre-ordained, but could have turned out differently. We tend to forget that.
  7:59am Aye-Aye:

The word 'Proun' is borrowed from the Russian artist El Lissitzky. In the 1920s he produced a series of abstract, geometric paintings which he called Proun. Pronounced "pro-oon" according to wikipedia.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00am Jeffrey Davison:

Aye-Aye: thanks. I should have looked that up. I don't like announcing titles whose meaning I don't know, if I believe it's not a made-up word.
Avatar 8:04am Really Lisa:

Hi Jeffrey and all.
Here for the third hour.
Hope everyone is as well as can be.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:05am Jeffrey Davison:

Really Lisa, good morning! Fit as a fiddle, you might say...
Avatar 8:05am Heidee:

Aw lovely fiddle.
Hi Really Lisa!
  8:07am prudy:

Good Morning Jeffrey, here in the Catskills your favorite season has arrived...it's 48 degrees F. Lovely show as always...
Avatar 8:08am Really Lisa:

Avatar 8:08am deborah:

Good Morning Everyone! Back from an early morning walk. Early morning walks often provide much-needed clarity. So beautiful out at the moment.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:10am Jeffrey Davison:

Heidee: don't know why I didn't know MacColl's solo stuff before. She's amazing.
prudy: you got that right. I love the fall.
deborah: welcome!
