Oh wow. Recently began collecting terrible E.T. cash-in records.

Hello Kitten & ET!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm

This is like E.T. meets Herbie Hancock's Watermelon Man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:04pm

Why is et in Jamaica?

Wow, that was easy. I didn't even have to move from my chair! Hey Shiny Kitty!

Bienvenue à montréal ET !

ET is the first film I remember really hating. Haha a young film critic is born.

It really is terrible. But this song makes me LOL out loud.

Where in the world is ET Santiago?
Avatar 3:07pm
Otis Fodder:

If I never watch ET again, I'll be a happy camper. All these songs though, yesss!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm

This has taken a weird turn. Are they saying 'know your rights when you show you're right?"

E.T. Is inside every one of us!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm

I only like the part when they put ET in drag because it’s a hawt looq
Avatar 3:09pm
Mr Fab:

There *had* to have been a porn called "S.T.: The Sextra-terrestrial," right? (I'm not about to look, I'm just sayin...)

The secret friend you can't tell your parents or adults about aspect hasn't aged like fine wine, unforch...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm

There’s that crazy movie made w sex dolls where two sex dolls adopt and then torture ET. So. Disturbing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm
Rich in Washington:

I google it for you, Fab. I'm at home today.
No, unfortuately , it all points to the real, actual film.
Avatar 3:11pm
Mr Fab:

At the end of that track, when he says "I've been everywhere," I'd then play Johnny Cash's "I've Been Everywhere." But I'm not DJing, so i won't.

I did refine the search slightly and found one called 'E.T., Porn Home' but that's as far as I go.

Wel, then "S.T.: The Sextra-terrestrial" must be made! Right after we make "Banandu."

Mr Fab:

i can't believe that's a real movie, solo. But stranger things have happened. (I should know, I'm one of them!)
Avatar 3:17pm

The best puns are in porn titles. There should be a coffee table book of posters... with the best puns... god, maybe there is.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm

Recently got a soundtrack for an E.T. ripoff from Spain called Kiu I Els Seus Amics. It's pretty goofy. I can't find a frame of this film online though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm

Fab- Reading The synopsis alone is worth it LOL.

Canadian Beaver Eating Contest is a good title

Oooh, the Finders Keepers reissue... have not heard/picked that one up Rich. Reminds me to check it out.
Avatar 3:19pm

That's a great idea, Otis! Like after "Gladiator" came out, there was "Glad I Ate Her'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm

Who can forget Edward Penishands?
Avatar 3:20pm
Mr Fab:

Don, What's up with Professor Canteloupe nowadays?
Avatar 3:21pm
Otis Fodder:

You can get some good Beaver Tail in Ottawa here in winter. Mmmm. From Wiki P... "The BeaverTail is a fried dough pastry that is sold in a variety of flavours. Most flavours of BeaverTails are topped with sweet condiments and confections, such as whipped cream, banana slices, crumbled oreos, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate hazelnut. BeaverTails is also made in savoury variations, such as with poutine or hotdogs. BeaverTails" and "Queues de Castor" have been registered as trademarks since 1988 by BeaverTails Canada Inc and its affiliated companies."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm

I saw that blow up doll movie in the theater and one lady ran out crying and screaming “ how can you be so cruel to ET?!!?” Hahahahaha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm
solo mon:

Ohh beaver tail is like an elephant ear??
Avatar 3:22pm
Sonderangebot:

Solo, I never liked ET, the first movie I hated was Neverending Story.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm
Rich in Washington:

I have a theory that the porn parody titles were contrived to be a somewhat 'guilt-free' way for people to rent porn. Like a sort of ironic distancing device. I mean, who could resist renting Edward Penishands or Honey, I Blew Everybody?
Avatar 3:22pm
Otis Fodder:

What is Elephant Ear, you have my ear.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm

A beaver tail with castorium spread on it.

I watched Edward in the 90s with roommates, I just remember so much mayo on those dogs.

Ha Sondy that’s another stinker, for sure. But moist people would fight you about that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm

I like the song and the movie Neverending Story. 24 hours of Neverending story coming up next!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm

I think Tron might've been the first movie I hated but maybe only because my younger brother was obsessed with it.
Avatar 3:24pm
Mr Fab:

don't mess with moist people!
Avatar 3:25pm

It would just be the theme song over and over until I throw up.

Tron's another crappy movie (sorry) but then again I'm very picky.

America's Moist Wanted
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm
Rich in Washington:

70s/80s Disney was downright dismal.
Avatar 3:27pm
Neverending Fodder:

The movie Tron sucks big metal circuit boards. The soundtrack by Carlos is fantastic, except for Journey appearing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm
solo mon:

I liked watcher in the woods, and something wicked those were great dark Disney. The black hole
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm
solo mon:

Tron was boring!
Avatar 3:28pm
Neverending Fodder:

Yes to all 3 Solo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm
Rich in Washington:

I remember seeing lots of 70s disney films as they were usually like 50 cents on Saturdays at my local theater. Lots of Herbie, bad Don Knotts films, etc.

Avatar 3:28pm

What about The Princess Bride?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm
Rich in Washington:

yeah, Watcher was strangely dark, as was Black Hole.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm
solo mon:

The gnome mobile!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm
Rich in Washington:

Was Princess Bride a disney film?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm
solo mon:

I never got into PB, and have actually never seen it- but my friends children re enacted the whole movie for me one time and it was probably longer than the movie so I feel I have seen it.
Avatar 3:30pm
Neverending Fodder:

Maybe, unsure, had a fun cast. I liked it, but I am a sucker for fantasy... just not too much Disney. Topping the worst-list is LEGEND!
Avatar 3:32pm
Fantasy Fodder:

Lil' Markie is coming up. Mark Fox gets a lot of airplay in Sheena's... might need to consider Markie from the Tummy for a Tarot minor card.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm
solo mon:

Legend is stupid. There’s good Henson and there’s terrible Henson. Good- emmet otter, return to oz... bad- legend, fragile rock, dark crystal (yes I hate that too)
Avatar 3:33pm
Fantasy Fodder:

Ha, not a fan of Dark Crystal at all.. and that reboot.. is there a timeshare seminar I can go to instead?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm

I don't think I've ever sat through Labyrinth.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm

Ugh and so many people I know worked in the te boot and thought it was ah maze ing. I could not. Watch more than 10 mins.
Avatar 3:34pm
Fantasy Fodder:

Another dud... I'll stick to Christiane F. Bowie
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm
solo mon:

Oh I was thinking about Labrynth not legend both dumb. But legend is not Jim Henson I don’t think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm
Rich in Washington:

I enjoyed Dark Crystal quite a bit. The design, etc.
I quite liked the series. It made me watch the original film again for the first time in decades, which kinda suffered in comparison, effects-wise, but was still enjoyable.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm
Rich in Washington:

Legend was Ridley Scott and had Tom Cruise in it. Worth it only for Tim Curry.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm
solo mon:

Emmet Otters hug band Christmas is the pinnacle of Henson entertainment in my humble opinion. Laughter and tears jug bands and glam rock
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm
Rich in Washington:

I think Willow might be one of the worst big budget films I've ever seen. Just off-putting for some intangible reason.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm
solo mon:

Jug band!

I think in the 80s they were still trying to capture that Star Wars blockbuster level capital, in the face of losing ground to 24 hour entertainment via cable TV.

I wasn't watching too many new movies in the '80s so i missed all that nonsense. Only Henson for me is Muppets!
Avatar 3:46pm
Mr Fab:

had to put the sound levels down low cuz Li'l Fab is singing along with her music class. "This land is your land..." Oh, the adorable-ness!

Avatar 4:52pm

i've heard some real freaky binaural recordings using them. Like scissor sounds that sound like someone behind you cutting your hair, stuff like that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:54pm

I didn't know they were actually a thing. I remember seeing Holger Czukay wielding a rather weird looking one and then saw a bunch of high-end ones in an audio gear catalog I get at work.
