Hello, Kitten Sparkles!
I read you loud and clear!
Avatar 3:01pm Mr Fab:

loud and clear, sir!
Avatar 3:01pm solo mon:

Sound good.
Avatar 3:02pm Mr Fab:

tho the bloops and bleeps are trying to push you aside
Avatar 3:02pm Sem:

Well, hello there. Glad to be along.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm Rich in Washington:

Oh wow. Recently began collecting terrible E.T. cash-in records.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm Otis Fodder:

Hello Kitten & ET!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:03pm Rich in Washington:

This is like E.T. meets Herbie Hancock's Watermelon Man.
Avatar 3:04pm solo mon:

Why is et in Jamaica?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:04pm Franco Twinkie:

Wow, that was easy. I didn't even have to move from my chair! Hey Shiny Kitty!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:05pm Otis Fodder:

Bienvenue à montréal ET !
Avatar 3:05pm solo mon:

ET is the first film I remember really hating. Haha a young film critic is born.
Avatar 3:06pm Mr Fab:

It really is terrible. But this song makes me LOL out loud.
Avatar 3:07pm solo mon:

Where in the world is ET Santiago?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm Otis Fodder:

If I never watch ET again, I'll be a happy camper. All these songs though, yesss!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm Rich in Washington:

This has taken a weird turn. Are they saying 'know your rights when you show you're right?"
  3:08pm novakscene:

E.T. Is inside every one of us!
Avatar 3:09pm solo mon:

I only like the part when they put ET in drag because it’s a hawt looq
Avatar 3:09pm Mr Fab:

There *had* to have been a porn called "S.T.: The Sextra-terrestrial," right? (I'm not about to look, I'm just sayin...)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09pm Rich in Washington:

The secret friend you can't tell your parents or adults about aspect hasn't aged like fine wine, unforch...
Avatar 3:11pm solo mon:

There’s that crazy movie made w sex dolls where two sex dolls adopt and then torture ET. So. Disturbing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm Rich in Washington:

I google it for you, Fab. I'm at home today.
No, unfortuately , it all points to the real, actual film.
Avatar 3:11pm Mr Fab:

At the end of that track, when he says "I've been everywhere," I'd then play Johnny Cash's "I've Been Everywhere." But I'm not DJing, so i won't.
Avatar 3:12pm solo mon:

Kitten sparkle dolphin purr
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm Rich in Washington:

I did refine the search slightly and found one called 'E.T., Porn Home' but that's as far as I go.
Avatar 3:12pm Mr Fab:

Wel, then "S.T.: The Sextra-terrestrial" must be made! Right after we make "Banandu."
Avatar 3:13pm Mr Fab:

alien sex dolls come down to earth.
Avatar 3:13pm solo mon:

filmthreat.com...
Avatar 3:15pm solo mon:

Bananadu is coming your way 2021
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Otis Fodder:

E.T., Porn Home ... haaaaaaaaa
Avatar 3:16pm Mr Fab:

i can't believe that's a real movie, solo. But stranger things have happened. (I should know, I'm one of them!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17pm Otis Fodder:

The best puns are in porn titles. There should be a coffee table book of posters... with the best puns... god, maybe there is.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18pm Rich in Washington:

Recently got a soundtrack for an E.T. ripoff from Spain called Kiu I Els Seus Amics. It's pretty goofy. I can't find a frame of this film online though.
Avatar 3:18pm solo mon:

Fab- Reading The synopsis alone is worth it LOL.
Avatar 3:18pm Sonderangebot:

Canadian Beaver Eating Contest is a good title
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm Otis Fodder:

Oooh, the Finders Keepers reissue... have not heard/picked that one up Rich. Reminds me to check it out.
Avatar 3:19pm Mr Fab:

That's a great idea, Otis! Like after "Gladiator" came out, there was "Glad I Ate Her'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20pm Rich in Washington:

Who can forget Edward Penishands?
Avatar 3:20pm Mr Fab:

Don, What's up with Professor Canteloupe nowadays?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm Otis Fodder:

You can get some good Beaver Tail in Ottawa here in winter. Mmmm. From Wiki P... "The BeaverTail is a fried dough pastry that is sold in a variety of flavours. Most flavours of BeaverTails are topped with sweet condiments and confections, such as whipped cream, banana slices, crumbled oreos, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate hazelnut. BeaverTails is also made in savoury variations, such as with poutine or hotdogs. BeaverTails" and "Queues de Castor" have been registered as trademarks since 1988 by BeaverTails Canada Inc and its affiliated companies."
Avatar 3:21pm solo mon:

I saw that blow up doll movie in the theater and one lady ran out crying and screaming “ how can you be so cruel to ET?!!?” Hahahahaha
Avatar 3:22pm solo mon:

Ohh beaver tail is like an elephant ear??
Avatar 3:22pm Sonderangebot:

Solo, I never liked ET, the first movie I hated was Neverending Story.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm Rich in Washington:

I have a theory that the porn parody titles were contrived to be a somewhat 'guilt-free' way for people to rent porn. Like a sort of ironic distancing device. I mean, who could resist renting Edward Penishands or Honey, I Blew Everybody?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm Otis Fodder:

What is Elephant Ear, you have my ear.
Avatar 3:22pm solo mon:

A beaver tail with castorium spread on it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm Otis Fodder:

I watched Edward in the 90s with roommates, I just remember so much mayo on those dogs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm Rich in Washington:

Get set, get going, amen....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm Rich in Washington:

This used to pop up on late night radio and it wasn't until years later that I learned what it was.
Avatar 3:23pm solo mon:

Ha Sondy that’s another stinker, for sure. But moist people would fight you about that.
Avatar 3:24pm solo mon:

Ha MOST
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm Otis Fodder:

I like the song and the movie Neverending Story. 24 hours of Neverending story coming up next!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm Rich in Washington:

I think Tron might've been the first movie I hated but maybe only because my younger brother was obsessed with it.
Avatar 3:24pm Mr Fab:

don't mess with moist people!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:25pm Otis Fodder:

It would just be the theme song over and over until I throw up.
Avatar 3:25pm Sonderangebot:

Tron's another crappy movie (sorry) but then again I'm very picky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm Rich in Washington:

America's Moist Wanted
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm Rich in Washington:

70s/80s Disney was downright dismal.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm Neverending Fodder:

The movie Tron sucks big metal circuit boards. The soundtrack by Carlos is fantastic, except for Journey appearing.
Avatar 3:27pm solo mon:

I liked watcher in the woods, and something wicked those were great dark Disney. The black hole
Avatar 3:28pm solo mon:

Tron was boring!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm Neverending Fodder:

Yes to all 3 Solo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm Rich in Washington:

I remember seeing lots of 70s disney films as they were usually like 50 cents on Saturdays at my local theater. Lots of Herbie, bad Don Knotts films, etc.
Avatar 3:28pm solo mon:

NereK
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm Neverending Fodder:

What about The Princess Bride?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm Rich in Washington:

yeah, Watcher was strangely dark, as was Black Hole.
Avatar 3:29pm solo mon:

The gnome mobile!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm Rich in Washington:

Was Princess Bride a disney film?
Avatar 3:30pm solo mon:

I never got into PB, and have actually never seen it- but my friends children re enacted the whole movie for me one time and it was probably longer than the movie so I feel I have seen it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm Neverending Fodder:

Maybe, unsure, had a fun cast. I liked it, but I am a sucker for fantasy... just not too much Disney. Topping the worst-list is LEGEND!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Fantasy Fodder:

Lil' Markie is coming up. Mark Fox gets a lot of airplay in Sheena's... might need to consider Markie from the Tummy for a Tarot minor card.
Avatar 3:33pm solo mon:

Legend is stupid. There’s good Henson and there’s terrible Henson. Good- emmet otter, return to oz... bad- legend, fragile rock, dark crystal (yes I hate that too)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm Fantasy Fodder:

Ha, not a fan of Dark Crystal at all.. and that reboot.. is there a timeshare seminar I can go to instead?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm Rich in Washington:

I don't think I've ever sat through Labyrinth.
Avatar 3:34pm solo mon:

Ugh and so many people I know worked in the te boot and thought it was ah maze ing. I could not. Watch more than 10 mins.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34pm Fantasy Fodder:

Another dud... I'll stick to Christiane F. Bowie
Avatar 3:35pm solo mon:

Oh I was thinking about Labrynth not legend both dumb. But legend is not Jim Henson I don’t think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm Rich in Washington:

I enjoyed Dark Crystal quite a bit. The design, etc.
I quite liked the series. It made me watch the original film again for the first time in decades, which kinda suffered in comparison, effects-wise, but was still enjoyable.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm Rich in Washington:

Legend was Ridley Scott and had Tom Cruise in it. Worth it only for Tim Curry.
Avatar 3:37pm solo mon:

Emmet Otters hug band Christmas is the pinnacle of Henson entertainment in my humble opinion. Laughter and tears jug bands and glam rock
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm Rich in Washington:

I think Willow might be one of the worst big budget films I've ever seen. Just off-putting for some intangible reason.
Avatar 3:37pm solo mon:

Jug band!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm The Responsible Worker:

Swiveling my seat over to start work for a bit... tuned in and listening to the sparkles. See everyone later... thanks for the friendly chat persuasions today!
Avatar 3:38pm solo mon:

There sure were a lot of garbagey fantasy films at that period in time
Avatar 3:39pm Sonderangebot:

Solo indeed, imagine growing up then... as a fantasy-hating little girl
Avatar 3:39pm solo mon:

Yeah I got sta get some stuff done too. Will listen tho- fun show today oats and good job rn kitten shparkellles
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm Rich in Washington:

Thanks for wonderful radio today, you responsible worker, you!
Avatar 3:40pm solo mon:

I’m not a fantasy fan either Sondy!
Avatar 3:41pm Cp304:

Such good sounds
Avatar 3:41pm solo mon:

Thumbs up for Quintron!
Avatar 3:41pm Sonderangebot:

(not a hater anymore... just not my preference) gotta bounce too... thanks yall
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm Rich in Washington:

I think in the 80s they were still trying to capture that Star Wars blockbuster level capital, in the face of losing ground to 24 hour entertainment via cable TV.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm Rich in Washington:

See you, Sonderangebot!
Avatar 3:43pm Sonderangebot:

see you Rich!
Avatar 3:44pm Mr Fab:

I wasn't watching too many new movies in the '80s so i missed all that nonsense. Only Henson for me is Muppets!
Avatar 3:46pm Mr Fab:

had to put the sound levels down low cuz Li'l Fab is singing along with her music class. "This land is your land..." Oh, the adorable-ness!
Avatar 3:46pm Mr Fab:

Her and the other kids singing adds another level of collage to the Kitten mix in the background
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48pm Rich in Washington:

That sounds wonderful, Mr. Fab!
Avatar 4:00pm Mr Fab:

Music To Update Your Resume By.
Which is what I'm doing. Hey, someone out there want to give me a big fat salary? 'Course you do! the more money I make, the more time i can devote to this station!
  4:05pm Martinibomb:

I need to update mine too. Heh
Avatar 4:10pm Kitten Sparkles:

Hey, gang. Gonna get to the sounds of the womb (Rockabye Baby lp) soon... the intro to that is priceless "Ok we've got the microphone down iinside the uterus just outside the membrane..."
Avatar 4:11pm Kitten Sparkles:

Hi Otis, Mr Fab, Rich, Solo, etc!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:21pm Rich in Washington:

Hello, Mr. Kitten Sparkles! This is a lot of fun!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm Rich in Washington:

We're in a womb of warm, lovely noise.
Avatar 4:24pm Kitten Sparkles:

Hear it? Best intro to a record ever. "OK the Micropone is up inside the uterus just outside the membrane..."
Avatar 4:25pm Kitten Sparkles:

This is my fave "sounds of mother's womb for baby" lp.
Avatar 4:25pm Kitten Sparkles:

Feel like an unborn child yet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm Rich in Washington:

This reminds me of Throbbing Gristle's Journey Through a Body
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm Rich in Washington:

Is this the one that has it mixed with classical music on one side?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm chresti:

Hi Kitten and fantastic sparkle people!
Avatar 4:27pm Kitten Sparkles:

No. I have that one, too... maybe should play some of it...
Avatar 4:28pm Kitten Sparkles:

Hi, Chresti!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29pm Rich in Washington:

I keep finding that one - Lullaby From The Womb - and giving it to friends or relatives, just because it's so odd.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm Rich in Washington:

The German version of that Hajime Murooka ‎album is called Mama's Muziek
Avatar 4:33pm Kitten Sparkles:

playing it now...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34pm chresti:

I like this, perfect for unwinding after a morning at work..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37pm Rich in Washington:

I like to think that god on this record and James Last's Mr. Giant Man are one and the same.
Avatar 4:45pm Mr Fab:

Rich: Ha ha:
"Yo ho! Obey the Lord!"
Avatar 4:47pm Kitten Sparkles:

This is a cool 7". The stereo Dummy-Head mic by Sennheiser...
Avatar 4:48pm Kitten Sparkles:

I used one to record the "last" TG show in SF. Mission of Dead Souls lp.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm Rich in Washington:

Yeah. Those goddamn dummy heads are expensive! I could get a real head for much cheaper.
Avatar 4:52pm Mr Fab:

i've heard some real freaky binaural recordings using them. Like scissor sounds that sound like someone behind you cutting your hair, stuff like that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:54pm Rich in Washington:

I didn't know they were actually a thing. I remember seeing Holger Czukay wielding a rather weird looking one and then saw a bunch of high-end ones in an audio gear catalog I get at work.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:10pm chresti:

Cody Brant is a guest this Friday on Daniel Blumin´s show.
Avatar 5:13pm Kitten Sparkles:

Nice! Having him guest on mine one of these days, too!
Avatar 5:24pm Mr Fab:

Mr Kitten, are your sound collage thingies/Venomous Invisible Amanda tracks available anywhere? Such as in the handy-dandy mp3 format?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:34pm Rich in Washington:

This is exciting!
Avatar 5:37pm Mr Fab:

is this a comedy sketch or real ad? I know this is the guy from The Fugs, but maybe he found this ad, and added it to his album?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:37pm Rich in Washington:

No Fugging way!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm zivilars:

Hello everybody and thanks for the show, Kitten! BTW Kenzo (or who else does that) still needs a little reminder to activate the archives for your other new "Wired Up!" show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:40pm Rich in Washington:

Gawd! This is wonderful, Kitten Sparkles!
Avatar 5:41pm Mr Fab:

Huh, def should have been archived by now, Thanks for the heads-up, zivilars. Will have to ask Rebecca, I believe she's the Keeper O' The Archives.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm zivilars:

@Mr. Fab: They sometimes just miss that there's a new show in town, happened as well with all the new Rock'n'Soul shows – after a little reminder, they were all activated quickly
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:51pm chresti:

Thanks Kitten and what Rich said!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm Rich in Washington:

Thanks, Kitten Sparkles! Fun show today!
Avatar 5:59pm Kitten Sparkles:

Thank you guys for haning out!
Avatar 6:00pm Kitten Sparkles:

Hanging. oops.
Avatar 6:01pm Mr Fab:

hanin, hangin, I'll do it all. Much thanks for the fantastic-ness!
Avatar 6:05pm Kitten Sparkles:

My pleasure. See y'all Saturday for some Slammin' Glam 'n' Bubblegum! Noah's gonna be joining me this time!
