hi websie, richy4619, chop scott.
  12:18am rich:

  12:19am Tamar:

  12:26am ami ad:

Hehe, was a good show, had a bunch of Hash Du Joints. The Hebrew did not make much sense to me,but, rocky roll. I'll see you at the cemetery gates...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am chresti:

With crushed walnuts or walnut flour?
  12:41am ami ad:

@rich:I think Oranssi Pazuzu would do magic in that setting.
Avatar 12:42am ! I X Key !:

Crushed, not flour!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42am Blacktooth:

I'm going to date myself, here. But I remember attending the WFMU Lincoln Center event where The Ex and members of the "Ethiopiques" branded crew mashed it up on stage in 2008. Mahmoud Ahmed & Alemayehu Eshete & Getatchew Mekurya did The Ex tunes in Ethiopian-Jazz style. And The Ex did Ethiopian-Jazz tunes in The Ex-style. At the end, a huge noise mash-up with everyone on stage going "wall-of-noise" for 20 minutes. I've seen nothing like it since.
  12:45am Tamar:

That Lincoln Center show was amazing.
  12:45am ami ad:

I date myself daily the past 5 months.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55am Blacktooth:

"I'm going to date myself." - now it reads like a challenge.

If things go really well, you can marry yourself (cue Sparks).
Avatar 12:56am ! I X Key !:

They do provide very different consistencies, don't they

When I was little, I walked myself to school. And every autumn, I noticed a lot of dead squirrels. I assumed that there was a dying season just like there was a mating season.
Avatar 1:22am Fox:

Wait, really? the RZA made a new ice cream truck jingle?!?
  1:24am rich:

hello fox
  1:25am ami ad:

indeed he did.
Avatar 1:27am Fox:

That is some true urban understanding right there. THAT will improve the quality of life AND embed himself permanently in urban daily life more than anything else a musician could do.
  1:34am rich:

for some reason we get ice cream trucks playing their tunes at 11pm around here. since everything i watched growing up showed that the ice cream man was the provider of treats for all kinds of tastes not just young children craving fudgesicles it just seems too obvious but i have yet to hear anyone shout for the truck to stop during the day or evening
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35am mariano:

Fox: have you seen "Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai"? The RZA did the soundtrack and has a brief cameo. An ice-cream truck figures prominently in the story.
Avatar 1:44am Fox:

mariano - oh yes, that does make so much sense, putting that together! Dang, I had such a childhood crush on Isaach De Bankolé. He was on Young Indiana Jones.
  1:44am ami ad:

The Wackness, movie,no need for a truck. Ghost Dog was super.
  1:46am rich:

i imagine that assault on precinct 13 disqualifies john carpenter from composing an ice cream truck jingle
Avatar 1:50am Fox:

I am trying to not be afraid of drawing. I'm trying to make myself sit at the drafting able without reference and just draw for fun?

But what if it's not fun for me to draw without reference?
