DJ GeorgyGirl leaves the pub and sets sail on the pirates! August 14th marks the 53rd anniversary of the Marine & Broadcasting (Offences) Act, when the UK pirate radio DJs became full-on outlaws. Expect four hours of slamming 60s tunes, vintage adverts and jingles, pirate atmosphere, and much, much more!

i finally saw them in 75 .. but if i'd been there at the start.. i'd have died happy then.
it really was fun. wearing the vintage dresses & the pumps.. the only difference was the hair. no beehives. shocking messes.
alas, GG, my vintage cocktail dresses are no more.
to this day i don't believe i've ever seen a more tired face than Mick's after a show.

i saw them before screen technology at the Garden a bit far from the stage, so it was a bit like watching a puppet show. heard them fine though.
