macOS is simple as holding whichever key down, then selecting from the variants which appear. Windows requires memorization *gasp* and extra keystrokes. ubuntu is a f'ing nightmare for 'em

@DiL she just doesn't understand. @spodiodi The convertible has 170K miles on it, and since convertible miles are like dog years, that translates into 1,190,000 miles. Almost matching orange peel paint on the hood, front splitter that is actually split, burnt plastic on the rear bumper from when the exhaust bracket got bent, 21 year old convertible top... "fortunately" during one of the many treasure hunts for the source of an electrical problem we found the body was being held on the back of the chassis with 2 remaining spot welds.

fred: credit card? i just gave them my dna to make buying easier ;) coincidentally, i have two french IBM TouchPoint keyboards (because i found them on ebay, and i love those little nubs) I've never tried using them as actual french keyboards, but feel more worldly while pecking at their fany keys :D

what's the most challenging part? (suppressing accents? tyipng pipes or tildes?)

He's more famous for organizing a Blackshirt march amongst Italian coalminers and steel workers---down the main street of Sydney, Cape Breton in Nova Scotia. Spent the remainder of the war years in a prison camp in Northern Ontario.

Lizzie, they have offered to get me many such things. We run up against a size constraint. I live in a four-room railroad apt. There's just no space for more monitors and the like. I haul this laptop around on a 50' Ethernet cable so I can go outside with it when it's not 10 million degrees (i.e., not these past two weeks). But I can't fit standing desk or monitor stand or anything like that anyplace. And if I did, the cats would wax wroth and restore the natural order.

Foobar has a wonderful script feature that makes editing tags quite pleasant.. they also have same really nice file operations in the rmb menu. Clementine comes close, but the copy operation doesn't grab the extra file in the folder the way Foobar does.
