Evening everyone, Rich, Scott.
  12:02am rich:

good morning everyone.
for the eyes this week: yokandsheryo.com
www.instagram.com...
Avatar 12:03am Roberto:

Rich, we hope you don't mind. The topic this week is preferred methods of corpse disposal.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:03am spodiodi:

aloha, Rich. do you have a squirrel-sized oxygen line fitting i could borrow?
either way, thanks for the music!
hello all. happy friday night/saturday morning
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04am coelacanth∅:

greetings rich and recyclable squirrelly carcassoids
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04am spodiodi:

enough oxygen and a few sparks in a well-sealed carcass should do it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:06am coelacanth∅:

i quite like the moment's color scheme
  12:06am Carmichael:

Heya Rich and living carcasses. Looking forward to the ROCK.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09am chresti:

Hi rich and company!
Avatar 12:11am slugluv1313:

greetings, rich and Earth-friendly future corpses!
this is what i was *trying* to remember earlier -- re: human composting bill in California -- WE CAN BE TREES! :)
twitter.com...
Avatar 12:12am Franco Twinkie:

I propose the distillation of an all purpose sauce that can fuel rockets, get out the toughest stains, straighten unruly hair and freshen stale bread. Okay, I thought it up, someone else figure out the science involved.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13am daupomatic:

Morning, fellow Lalo-lovers and future compost.
Avatar 12:13am slugluv1313:

@ Franco -- ahhh but can it get the cats to help with the housework?! :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13am mariano:

See, that's what I'd like: to let my elements rejoin the earth they came from. Never understood embalming someone, putting them in a suit, then sticking them in the ground in an expensive box. Second choice: a viking funeral complete with flaming longboat.
Avatar 12:14am Franco Twinkie:

Just vacuuming. Cat's will never fold laundry.
Avatar 12:14am slugluv1313:

YES loving these Bees, Wasps, and Mayflies
(just planted the rest of my "beneficial insect attracting" seeds earlier this week)
Avatar 12:15am slugluv1313:

ahhh Franco but they work SO HARD to get their fur on EVERYTHING!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16am daupomatic:

Franco: Show me a cat that will vacuum, and I'll show a very small spy in a very good costume.
Avatar 12:17am Franco Twinkie:

It is neither nature or nurture. Just something they learned watching television.
  12:20am rich:

hello mariano roberto spodiodi coel carmichael chresti slugluv franco daupomatic and you. i do like the idea of my body being staked out on the roof of wfmu while the pigeons slowly peck away at the carcass. a little mic setup with a bit of reverb tucked inside the corpse would be nice. i would like the live recording to be streamed until there's only the bones left.
Avatar 12:20am northguineahills:

I went to the store, and there were 5 kittens, about four weeks old chilling in the street, w/ no fear of my car. Missed them, then an armadillo darted in front of me. When I got back home, yet a different cat was relaxing in the hedge row. (There's a feral cat problem here)>
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21am spodiodi:

some wasp was trying to break in my window yesterday morning (probably to get at my oatmeal)
Avatar 12:21am Roberto:

Or kitties. We can talk about kitties instead.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:22am mariano:

ngh: As long as it didn't make a bustle in your hedgerow.
Avatar 12:23am slugluv1313:

@ mariano -- right?
when my Dad passed away, legally my Mom was the Executor -- but she was so "out of it" (i guess trauma of the sudden change? she and my Dad were hardly "best pals" but they were married almost 50 years) that i ended up doing a lot, and she would sign whatever needed to be signed -- going to the funeral home, picking out a casket -- what a RACKET! (like weddings, my guess is that they get you to spend WAY too much money because you are so emotionally "high")
we ended up picking out a somewhat simple, practical casket, nothing fancy, not too pricey -- unlike the SUPER-expensive casket that was recommended! (and being that my Dad was a Virgo accountant, i could TOTALLY see him rising up from the dead and slapping me upside the head if i "threw away all that money"!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:23am Mr. Pumpy:

yo yo yo!!! The nozzle should be in the anus. Rich, I am thinking this would be great comic relief! Otherwise, amazing set and hello all!
Avatar 12:24am slugluv1313:

@ rich -- that sounds BEAUTIFUL!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24am Mr. Pumpy:

This isn't the first time I overused exclamation points.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25am daupomatic:

From now on, whenever I enter a room, I shall pronounce "The nozzle should be in the anus."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25am Mr. Pumpy:

spod! squirrel sized oxygen line. Nice! Can it fit the anus?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26am mariano:

Hey Mr. Pumpy!

slugluv: Yeah, the modern funeral industry is kind of a holdover from Victorian times.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26am spodiodi:

aloha, Mr. Pumpy!!!
not a bad idea, but i need to put the line back on my mask
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26am Mr. Pumpy:

@daup...as you should!
Avatar 12:26am slugluv1313:

@ ngh -- oh sh*t -- those kittens :(
(no Alley Cat Allies or other rescue group around?)
(yeah i am the *official* Crazy Old Cat Lady of Hoboken . . . tough dirty job but somebody's gotta do it)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26am spodiodi:

it might?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27am spodiodi:

anyone have a cork?
Avatar 12:27am slugluv1313:

@ Mr. Pumpy -- NOT a problem, i use WAY too many exclamation points
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27am Mr. Pumpy:

spod...well it just needs to fit the anus of the inflatable squirrel carcass parade float, so depending on the final design...it will hopefully be more latex than dookie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28am Mr. Pumpy:

mariano, hey, bruv.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29am Mr. Pumpy:

@slug...are you joshing me (?!?!)
Avatar 12:29am slugluv1313:

@ Mr. Pumpy -- nope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29am spodiodi:

i was just prototyping (and wouldn't mind a small fire right now)... when is the mummer's parade anyway?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am Mr. Pumpy:

slug...prove it. heh heh
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am spodiodi:

it's also gotten a little ripe being in my fanny pack all day
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am spodiodi:

need a lighter too
Avatar 12:32am northguineahills:

There are two families that feed the cats. They have caught a few and had them spayed/neutered, but haven't had much luck w/ most. (they are also elderly). Volunteer animal rescue groups are lacking in my parent's county.

When I got married, it cost ourselves $75 total in Manhattan. Friends got the food and drinks later.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33am Mr. Pumpy:

spod, I've stayed in this hotel in Philly a couple of times that lines it's hallways B&W photos of the mummer's parade over the years. Amazing...and educational. We need to float this rodent meat!
Avatar 12:33am northguineahills:

Just two more weeks until I start my job, and can move back to a more sane part of FL (yes, that's not an oxymoran).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34am spodiodi:

i like to do a little mummer's strut whenever i'm talking about the mummers.
  12:35am rich:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37am spodiodi:

nor the hummus parade
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am spodiodi:

that's pretty creative, pumpe' (not many feathers, but cool!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am Mr. Pumpy:

hummus parade? Whaaaa?! What kind of rock have I been hiding under?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am Mr. Pumpy:

spod...yes. I think they bill it as a human violin, but...whatevs, as the kids say.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41am spodiodi:

ah there was just some hummus talk during der Bluminschnappen
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41am spodiodi:

those kids!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42am coelacanth∅:

rich (@12.20 -i was doing something) i don't get that.
don't you think once you're just bones up there the wind whistling around you wont be suitable for broadcast?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42am Mr. Pumpy:

Rich...these vibes are kicking me in the tuchus. Excellent sounds...damn! this is going into Hyao Myazaki realms. I like realms...thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43am Mr. Pumpy:

coel, heh?
  12:43am rich:

mr p i think a quartet of walking violins would go nicely with the float
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44am Mr. Pumpy:

Ahhh, you often have a way of tying it together, rich. I concur...strongly!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44am coelacanth∅:

hey Mr.P
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45am spodiodi:

we can call it the Yo!Yo! Mum! float if we can get the ok from you-know-who
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46am Mr. Pumpy:

co-co-coelcanth. co-co-co-co-coelcanth! (sung to Sussudio by Phil Collins)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46am Mr. Pumpy:

Spod...SPOD! YOU! That's tops...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48am Mr. Pumpy:

I think it may have to remain ISQ, but we'll have a Yo Yo Mum underneath. Well, let the boss speak, of course.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49am spodiodi:

maybe have a rocky balboa vs yo-yo ma Mixed Mummer Arts battle dance at the big stops/intersections/(ahem) statues!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49am spodiodi:

the cellos can do a little sorcerer's apprentice line dance
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50am Mr. Pumpy:

Whoa...processing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50am Mr. Pumpy:

processing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50am Mr. Pumpy:

...PROcessing (British accent)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50am spodiodi:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51am Mr. Pumpy:

perhaps!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51am spodiodi:

EXTERRRRMINATE (robo-british accent)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:51am Mr. Pumpy:

slugluv saw that show also. live shows are slowly returning in europe. denmark has had socially distanced classical performances. england is planning on socially distanced outdoor shows. there was something going on in pennsylvania this weekend with a limited number of people, electronic music, yoga, and marshmallows. the small intimate shows are going to take awhile however. though since there was that thing about smokers being protected from covid awhile back maybe they can let the small places have smoking to protect the customers, like going to a jazz club 20 years ago (i do kind of miss the smoke when i see certain bands; not the smell but the view)

I SWEAR a part of this was used in a Python sketch... "Storage Jars" maybe?
