Good morning Joe and crew, folks.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39am Hughie Considine:

@Roberto, me too. It was especially satisfying to see Yes used in an edgy indie film at a point where they had been off the cultural radar for awhile.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Could join it to 'Sweet Nuthin' by Velvets without a wrinkle - Yes to VU...
Avatar 9:40am Roberto:

Yeah I loved that movie on first viewing some 20 years ago. Of course, in retrospect, there's a lot to be uncomfortable about given the current cultural climate.

I had this weird dream it was Monday
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46am G:

@RR63: "Many of these [herbal Ecstasy] substances contain herbs like ginseng, guarana products, and others. Many contain ephedra, which comes from a shrub that has been used in Asia for many years as a medicinal herb and is often referred to as ma huang. Ephedra is also the natural counterpart of the drugs norephedrine, ephedrine or pseudoephedrine, which are used as antihistamines or stimulants. "

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17am Ike:

Ew, Mamoun's, no. Did I ever post my poem about how bad their falafel is? Literally any other place is better, and there are a lot of falafel places now. Taim is just one of many that's better. Admittedly not cheaper, but very much worth it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17am YETI BOB:

When I was not yet old enough to drive, I could take the train to NYC, get a felafel and coke ($1.25 + 75¢), pick up a record at Bleeker Bob's for under $10, and still have enough left over to get a dime-bag in Washington Square Park (which was sometimes even decent!).

Then halfway through Indiana, a different conductor told me "You can't be on this train with that thing". I didn't know what they were going to do - put me off the train in Portage IN to fend for myself? Anyhow another conductor came along and they played "good conductor/bad conductor" for a while until we found a solution - bass went to the cargo area, "at my own risk". We got there fine.
