Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00pm Jan Turkenburg:

I quite liked the 'evil' Spock, actually
Avatar 1:01pm solo mon:

Oh man I have been so impressed by Matt berry s musical output!
Avatar 1:01pm Ursula1000:

me too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:01pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Okay yes, Evil Spock was kinda hot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm chresti:

Avatar 1:02pm solo mon:

Avatar 1:02pm Ursula1000:

Evil Spock rocks! the title is from an upcoming track in the set
Avatar 1:03pm Ursula1000:

Jan-Chresti-Hopey---aloha!
Avatar 1:05pm BC Sterrett:

Hey Everyone! Keepin it goin'!
Avatar 1:05pm Ursula1000:

hiya BC!
Avatar 1:07pm solo mon:

We need a bubblegum army
Avatar 1:08pm Mr Fab:

Hey hey y'all, ready to do the Spock Rock!
Avatar 1:08pm Ursula1000:

hi FAB!
Avatar 1:08pm Mr Fab:

The Bubblegum Army would totally kick the Kiss Army's ass.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:09pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

Indeed Mr. Fab, this rawks!
Avatar 1:11pm solo mon:

LOL @fab
Avatar 1:11pm Ursula1000:

funny how nostalgia works--Star Trek still 100% totally down with it---Kiss, who were like superheroes growing up---not so much
Avatar 1:12pm Franco Twinkie:

So, was Hey Willy a slap at Graham Nash for leaving The Hollies and joining Pink Floyd?
Avatar 1:13pm solo mon:

Maybe because gene rodenbery was genius humanist visionary and kiss was nasty mysogynistas
Avatar 1:13pm Ursula1000:

hmmm interesting take! ^ I love the "glam-ness" of it!
Avatar 1:13pm Ursula1000:

precisely Solo!
Avatar 1:14pm solo mon:

Franco- I think you are on to something there...
Avatar 1:15pm BC Sterrett:

Loving this Telex track
Avatar 1:15pm solo mon:

Love love telex
Avatar 1:15pm Ursula1000:

this whole Telex album is killer
Avatar 1:16pm Mr Fab:

Rodenberry's vision...and green-skinned babes in bikinis and cheesy special fx. The Enterprise was like the Playboy mansion in space.
Avatar 1:16pm BC Sterrett:

That interesting era where Disco music was turning into New Wave.
Avatar 1:18pm Mr Fab:

My questionable childhood obsession: custom vans.
Avatar 1:18pm solo mon:

hahahah of course that’s because they had a very small budget for costumes, not because sexism. Jk I understand it all problematic, but Star Trek did breed more humanists than kiss I’m pretty sure
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:18pm Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

Greetings, U1K, WFMU crew and Sheena's Jungle Room gadabouts! YES to JJP!
Avatar 1:19pm solo mon:

Granny!!!!
Avatar 1:19pm BC Sterrett:

I had a great thrift store record with a lady giving aerobic calls over this J.J. Perrey track. I gave it to Dana Countryman as a gift when I saw him last.
Avatar 1:19pm Ursula1000:

GSP!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19pm Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

solo mon!!! yes to Star Trek over Kiss for humanitarians.
Avatar 1:20pm BC Sterrett:

Speaking of Star Trek, this jazzy number makes me think of Spock's goatee.
Avatar 1:21pm Ursula1000:

this track is full of KATRA!
Avatar 1:23pm BC Sterrett:

I'm re-watching the original Star Trek again as an adult and it's very enjoyable. As a kid it was something that was just always on TV. I just wanted to watch cartoons, but at least it was better than M.A.S.H., The News or Football/Other boring stuff that adults were into.
Avatar 1:24pm Mr Fab:

I have an album thats an 80s aerobics record, all the music is from Perrey's "The Happy Moog." A true WTF?
Avatar 1:24pm Ursula1000:

yeah been watching it w my 8 yr old---she digs it
Avatar 1:25pm Ursula1000:

ooh never seen that one FAb
Avatar 1:25pm solo mon:

Moogercise
Avatar 1:26pm solo mon:

Avatar 1:29pm solo mon:

Avatar 1:29pm Ursula1000:

haha deja vu
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Granny Spicy Tuna (e/em):

This is great! BC: i haven't revisited ST as an adult, sounds like it's a worthwhile endeavor (i did watch STNG as a 20-something)
Avatar 1:30pm solo mon:

Ursula you are the best.
Avatar 1:31pm Ursula1000:

aw shucks
Avatar 1:32pm Domenic:

Hi, just got in. The Alice Donna was nice. slightly different than the original?
Avatar 1:33pm Ursula1000:

Yeah this is from a new edit series on 45---beefed up drums and arrangement--playing the flip next---Nino Ferrer re-tweaked!
Avatar 1:35pm Domenic:

Sort of lie the "Senior Citizens" DJ in Greece. They have a you tube channel. A slight edit-uptic to the originals. Very tasteful and nice!
Avatar 1:35pm BC Sterrett:

I just remembered I need to transfer that Frank and the Top 10 record for you
Avatar 1:35pm Domenic:

And the Nino Fourrure flipside. thank you!
Avatar 1:36pm Ursula1000:
