Why Granny ... what big teeth you have :-D
heeheehee
updates on the hut? i signed a contract of sale with 2 amazing young people this week. so, it's now a go ~ again! :-) thanks for asking love.
we'll hope for the best.
The first would undoubtably be a business meeting with marketing people.
this Bowie is amazing. i really like his early work quite a lot.
There have been a couple of occasions when I've been a wee bit late with the playlist update. lol
so does tying up the netting!!
these are just fantastic records, must say. site-specific songs always are appealing, though.
I hope you are not angry for me providing a html link en.wikipedia.org...
A revised-for-Beatles version of his earlier work
i once compiled a playlist for driving up the coast of all songs with Pacific Coast Highway, Highway 1 or 101 in the name. There were quite a lot. Everyone from folks like Herb Alpert and Bacharach to Sonic Youth.
i'd have called it 'awareness' rather than 'fear', StrinOfperils. i never felt fearful. 'couse if you're aware, you don't have to be.
LA started building a subway system 20 years ago. My Chicago-born wife scoffs at how nice and clean it is "You call thsi a subway?! Where's all the grafitti and crud?!"
proud of it, too.
it really was fabulous riding the train as a kid. so free.
And like Aitch was saying about Australia, Americans love to blab to each other. More loudly than other nationalities, I'm sure. i see guys try to pick up girls on the subway. it can be a bit of a party. Or a boxing match.
not just the guys & girls. cruising the trains was definitely a thing for everyone, especially pre AIDS.
isn't it amazing?
Don O, your tour guide was faking it. it's really easy to use. as you found out!
