Listener comments!
Hot enough out here. We have made a big batch of garlic and pepper tea we are going to spray around to discourage bugs.
Yes, remember those honks!
Hey Handy!
I also forgot that I was going to bring the face-melting jams this early in the program, heh.
Sorry, I just had to get that out of my system. Hi everyone.
Just luncheoned on cheese, olives, and Marcel-inspired pa amb tomatjes.
Anyway… Hey Mary!
This is a very quiet ending, don't raise your volume...
@Mary: Black olives (Kalamata even!).
Hail, Mary, and WHATEVER! to the 100% on hand, and others of some ilk else.
The weird thing is I discovered it by seeing three distinct types of flyers: One bunch from a neighborhood person welcoming all people to the neighborhood, another bunch of generic NYC “hate crime is wrong” flyers and the third bunch were from the Guardian Angels. They are making strong efforts to recruit within the Chinese community out here.
Yet the quite good music inexorably reels me in.
So yeah, I am sure there is a manilla folder withs one flyers and notes in them. But sadly despite all the surveillance I don't think the person who posted that stuff will be “found” and it will just fade into yesterday’s news.
That’s why my own tact is to just take a pic for my own records and tear them down. Not a vigilante but don’t trust the gears of justice for stuff like this.
always a favorite
I managed to make my brain not let new Pixies ruin old Pixies. Got into the show in Atlanta on the Doolittle tour when they were still playing small places. Two? years later they were opening for U2 at the basketball arena.
I did catch them at the Hammersmith, what, ten years back? That was a good show. And afew more times in HS, but nothing beat that show at the Roxy -- I think I'd listened to the tape once and just figured I'd get in somehow, and we were right up against the stage.
Director: How much forehead do you want?
Pixies: Yes
www.imdb.com...
Thanks, Mary!
I think I'll have a Pepsi.
