Listener comments!
Enjoying this Lazy Salon.
David, What-ho.
Bracing ourselves to leave the neighborhood for the first time since we got back fiom JC on 3/16. Feeling pretty nervous. Hope to make it back at least before Techtonic!
Just wanted to say how good it sounds, Joe.
Handy!
Brian! (Those wee Bose speakers are excellent!)
And if you look real hard inside you'll find some fungus

And I was at a protest yesterday at Barclays Center where the crowd was mixed, the vibes were sad, respectful and peaceful and where it was clear — from signs and actions — if you are white you should be there to support and be a true ally that holds space. This was in the afternoon.
These looters in SoHo are clearly opportunists to me. They’re jerks because honestly I could care less about merch being stolen but I care about their actions blowing back on the black community.
Nulsh, good depth of sound. Will check it under water when the swimming pool is finished.
I still can’t fully absorb the idea that Rick Astley is a thin white guy.
And then this video of protestors in Washington, D.C. grabbing instigator and hand him over to the police: ‘Peaceful Protestors grab an agitator destroying property and they “TAKE HIS ASS!” To the police!” twitter.com...
I fully realize that WFMU has a very respected “no politics” rule for DJs and such. And commenters try to abide by this as well.
But seeing white people live action role play mayhem at the expense of the suffering of black people is sickening.
Wonder if the CitiFike, Uber and Revel geolocation data will be grabbed to out these looters?
@JoeMcG: Stay beige!
One of the best episodes of Bugs Bunny features an ice cream cart at Vallley Forge.
@Joe you must see it!
Evidently I missed Spiro Agnew jokes; a Very Bad Start.
One of the most profound childhood experiences I ever had was being taken with my parents when I was 11 years old to go see “Fiddler on the Roof” on Kings Highway in the 1970s.
I was the literal only person under the age of 60 there. And the movie bored me at the time. But then when “Sunrise, Sunset” comes on suddenly a theater filled with elderly Jews — many victims of World War II violence and prior — just sings loudly in harmony.
You can’t get that experience streaming.
And
@WoodsOfNH, I just looked up Cop Rock! It's hilarious!!!
Hasn't it been Underwater Themepark on Sunday mornings? Been enjoying that a lot tbh
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
