A dessert the colour of a Band-Aid, prepared in contact with a damp dishcloth...what could be more appealing? Rosewater-Curry Penicillin Mold, maybe? The WFMU Test-Kitchen never disappoints. MMM-MMM Good !

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm Jan Turkenburg:

What's the english title of this last melody?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27pm Jan Turkenburg:

In Dutch it's famous as "Twee ogen zo blauw"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm Jan Turkenburg:

I can only find that the Dutch song was first released in 1929...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm Otis:

Oh, I don't know, but it did sound very familiar.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Jan Turkenburg:

The melody is credited as "trad."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Jan Turkenburg:

Maybe I'll find it by accident again exploring the SU64NA archive...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm Kat in Chicago:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43pm Kat in Chicago:

Uncle Michael does webcam. Just sayin'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45pm Otis:

Oh does he, nice. I'll check it out, thanks Henry. Think it might be interesting to do. Will be so boring but I can wave and there will be cats.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:47pm Kat in Chicago:

My personal collection isn't really Sheena's-oriented but I've certainly fantasized about doing something on WFMU :) The college station I'm on is working on ways for us to do shows from home, so I might be back on air there at some point.

"Just slide her under the door"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06pm Kat in Chicago:

Webmaster Henry's comment applies to me as well, minus the autoharp. Nowadays, I mostly DJ dance/electronic/experimental and I think those genres are fairly well covered at the moment between the regular lineup and the Drummer stream. There used to be a lack of techno-type stuff a few years ago, but I hear a fair amount lately. Not to talk myself out of a theoretical opportunity, haha. Maybe I'll come up with a more unique concept I can pitch at some point.
Avatar 2:10pm solo mon:

I can work to beefhart!

I can work to Diamanda
Avatar 2:12pm BC Sterrett:
