It really is. There is a lot of grass past the succulents where it's too dark now to see. I do nothing to the cacti, though, and they flourish with just rain water and lots of sunshine. I bring them in when we have a freeze and that's it! Those Centuria planted further out are tollerant to freezes. Do nothing to them and they grow fast and spawn a ton of pups!!
