Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

If that Bee Gees song is a pleasure, it is definitely a guilty one (for me). I used to mope along with them in high school.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm listener james from westwood:

"Band on the Run" was likely the first track I ever played on a jukebox, along with the single of "The Entertainer" they released after The Sting.

It's funny how a movie filmed and released in the 1970s and set in the 1930s managed to revive a musical style that was popular in the 19-aughts.
